I won some polishes awhile ago and am slowly swatching through them. When I got 2 from Northern Star Polish, I was excited for a few reasons. First, I had seen swatches of a few other colors on some feature pages (@indieswatch) and was enamored with some of the holos. Second, it is an indie polish brand I had not tried yet.
Now let's get to some swatches!
First up is a limited edition glitter jelly called Midnight Moon. Midnight Moon is a light sky blue jelly with silver large hexes, medium and small hexes as well as micro silver glitter. In addition to all that silver glitter goodness, it also contains silver stars and silver crescent moons. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st and 2nd photo) and matte top coat (3rd photo).
Next is Yummy Plummy, an absolutely stunning deep purple holographic polish. I must say, this may be one of my 10 polishes. The purple, the sparkle, the formula.....I was salivating as I painted my nails! Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.
Loves: I am in love with the holo I tried and cannot wait to get my hands on more Northern Star Polish. Also Northern Star Polish is toxin free, vegan and cruelty free.
Wishes: Since I got these as a prize in a raffle/giveaway, I obviously wouldn't change anything! Well.....I now wish I had more Northern Star Polishes in my indie collection - but don't worry...that will change soon.
