Drip Drop Nail Paint Fight Like A Boo Collection Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations!

Today I have a set of 4 polishes which have a special meaning.  Jessica from Drip Drop Nail Paint, along with Joycelynn and Amy (two fellow AZ gals and best of friends) created 4 polishes to raise awareness of Scleroderma, the hardening and scarring  of the skin and body tissue, Fibromyalgia, a chronic nerve disease causing pain and Lupus an autoimmune disease.  Joycelynn was diagnosed with scleroderma, which many times is accompanied by fibromyalgia and her mother has Lupus - so these 4 beauties have a special place in all their hearts (and mine too, since I have gotten to know both Amy and Joycelynn).  May is Lupus and Fibromyalgia awareness month and June is Scleroderma awareness month, so I wanted to do this blog post at the end of May/start of June.

Now lets get to some swatches.

First up is Chronic Badass, a creamy purple, which is the color associated with Lupus awareness.  As with all DDNP (Drip Drop Nail Paint) the formula is perfection.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat and a racing stripe because that is pretty badass.

Next is Fight Like A Boo, a fun glitter topper containing lavender and purple hexes in a  few sizes as well as purple squares, lavender flowers and silver holo butterflies.  Purple Butterflies are used to raise awareness for Lupus.  Photos show 2 coats over a mint undie.

Skin Deep is next, a gorgeous teal, which is the color associated with Scleroderma awareness.  Do I need to mention the formula, if you guessed that it is amazing, you are correct!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat along with some silver lines.

Lastly is Sunflower Fields Forever, a glitter topper containing blue hexes, silver micro glitter, yellow circles, grey large hexes and yellow flowers.  Photo show 1 coat over light pink undie.

Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues Swatch and Review Part 3

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Last installment of the Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues.  This collection is based off of Disney Princesses and contains a total of 14 polishes.  I have enjoyed singing Disney tunes as I swatch each one!

Now let's get to some swatches.

First is Part Of Your World, which is inspired by The Little Mermaid's Ariel.  Part Of Your World is a glitter bomb with red, teal, and purple in several hex sizes and circles.  Photos shows 2 coats over a nude base with shiny topcoat.

Next is Let It Go, based on the movie Frozen and the character Elsa. This white glitter crelly contains blue and white hexes, teal squares and blue micro bars.  The white creme has a purple shimmer to it in the right light.  This polish has the option to add silver holo snowflakes or have them on the side.  Photo shows 2 coats, adding 2 snowflakes with shiny topcoat.

Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust is a fun glitter topper.  To capture the iridescent glitter and purple shimmer, I placed it over a black undie.  Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust contains lavender, iridescent and neon green glitters.  This glitter topper will look great over any color!  Photos show 1 coat over black with shiny topcoat.

Lastly is Love Is An Open Door, inspired by Elsa from Frozen.  This glitter jelly is amazing.  Love Is An Open Door is a black jelly that contains duo chrome/color shifting glitter.  Holding the bottle I can see, blue, purple, magenta and even gold!  This polish has the option of light teal and bright blue hexes to be mixed in or "on the side".  First swatches show 2 coats without the hexes with shiny and matte topcoat and last photos show with hexes with shiny and matte topcoat.

Loves:  All hail the Queen of Jellies hit the mark on Love Is An Open Door.  I haven't seen a jelly like it with color shifting glitter!  All polishes had great formula and made application a breeze.  The option of having the larger glitters mixed in or "on the side" is fun and creative.  And as an added bonus all polishes are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the nasty chemicals that can be found in mainstream polish.

Wishes:  I wish I could see sneak peaks of her next collection based on Sanrio characters!

Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues Swatch and Review Part 2

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Press Sample*
Today I bring you the second installment of the Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues.  As a reminder, this collection is based off of Disney Princesses and contains a total of 14 polishes.  Like the previous post the collection contains glitter toppers, glitter jellies and glitter crellies!

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Fairest Of Them All, which is based off the character Snow White.  It is a royal blue glitter jelly containing red, yellow, blue, grey glitter in a few hex sizes as well as red and silver bars.  This polish embodies Snow White's dress and will have you whistling while you swatch!  Photos show 2 coats with both shiny and matte topcoat.

Next is Colors Of The Wind, inspired by Pocahontas.  This ivory glitter crelly includes brown, gold, orange hexes in 2 sizes as well as teal squares.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat.

Kiss A Frog? is next, inspired by Tiana from The Princess and The Frog.  This glitter topper contains 2 different colors of green micro hexes, gold and grey small hexes and ivory circles.  It has the option of having large green flower glitters added into the polish or included in a bag.  I layered 2 coats over a dark green (Zoya Hunter) and hand added the 2 green flower glitters.  It truly reminded me of the back of a frog!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat.

Next is Once Upon A Dream, which can only be inspired by the one and only Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. This baby pink glitter crelly contains pink hexes in a few colors and sizes as well as iridescent glitters  and some micro bars in pink.  This polish also comes with the option of adding light pink butterfly glitter in it or having it come "on the side."  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat and 2 butterflies.

Lastly is Let Down Your Hair, inspired by Rupunzel from Tangled.  Let Down Your Hair is a pretty purple glitter topper containing purple, lavender and rose gold glitters.  This polish comes with the option of adding lavender flower glitter.  Photos show 1 coat over a purple undie and shiny topcoat.

Loves:  The Queen of Jellies nailed it with Fairest Of Them All (my favorite of this 5, followed closely by Let Down Your Hair).  All 5 above had fantastic formula that made application a breeze.  I absolutely love the option of the chunky glitter (having Heather mix it in for you or getting them on the side).  This option makes the polish so versatile - especially if you like to mix and match the glitters!  And as an added bonus which wasn't mentioned before all polishes are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the nasty chemicals that can be found in mainstream polish.

Wishes:  These 5 were wonderful!  Enjoyed all of them and wouldn't change anything!

Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues Swatch and Review Part 1

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I have the first installment of the Happily Ever Lacquered Collection from Heather's Hues.  This collection is based off of Disney Princesses and contains a total of 14 polishes.  This will be my first of 3 reviews on the collection.

Let's get to some swatches.

First up is Girls CAN Fight!  Mulan is the inspiration for Girls CAN Fight!  It is a red glitter jelly containing gold small flakes, gold shards, black circles and diamonds and silver holo hexes.  Formula was great! Photos show 2 coats with both shiny topcoat and matte topcoat.

Next is Glass Slippers, which is inspired by Cinderella.  Glass Slippers is a periwinkle blue glitter crelly containing several sizes of iridescent glitter in both hex and squares.  Easy to apply formula.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat.

Belle of the Ball is inspired by Beauty and the Beast princess Belle.  Belle of the Ball is a yellow glitter crelly containing yellow hexes in a few sizes as well as micro gold glitter.  Out of the 14 polishes, this is the only one I had difficulty with (a little on the thick side).  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat.

Next is My Spirit Flies which is inspired by Merida from Brave.  This dark blue glitter jelly is filled with gold, orange and bronze hex glitters in several sizes.  Great formula, making application a breeze.  Photos show 2 coats with both shiny topcoat and matte topcoat.

Lastly is Magic Carpet Ride which is inspired by Aladdin's Jasmine.  Magic Carpet Ride is a glitter topper containing gold, teal and light blue/grey hexes in several sizes including micro glitter.  Formula was amazing. Photos show 1 coat over a light sky blue undie topped with shiny topcoat.

Loves:  Heather's Hues always has fun themes which creatively imitate their inspiration.  With each polish, I saw the princess and it brought smiles and memories back from childhood.  Formula was easy to work with (yellow was a bit thick but not difficult to apply).  I also love that Heather can create fun glitter toppers, fantastic glitter crellies and lovely glitter jellies!  I am deeming her the Queen of Jellies because I have not met a Heather's Hues glitter jelly I didn't like!

Wishes:  Now I wish for a disney "sidekick" collection.  Haha.
