Elysian Lacquer Midsummer Night's Dream Collection Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Release*
New indie alert!!  Elysian Lacquer opens it's virtual doors June 1st.  It is a 5-free, vegan, cruelty free company.  The first collection is called Midsummer Night's Dream and bright colors make an appearance just in time for summer.

Let's get to some swatches.

First up is Pretty Soul, a neon pink perfect for summer!  As with all bright colors, it was very difficult to capture the color, but believe me, it is neon pink.  Photos show 2 coats over a nude base coat topped with a shiny topcoat.

Next is Queen of the Amazons.  Queen of the Amazons is a vibrant orange.  Formula was creamy and easy to apply.  Photos show 2 coats over a nude base coat topped with a shiny topcoat.

Night With No Moon is a gorgeous shimmery blue.  In the bottle, on the nail this blue is amazing no matter where it is.  Without a doubt Night With No Moon is my favorite.  Photos show 2 coats over a nude base coat topped with a shiny topcoat.

Forest Fairy is a lovely shimmery green.  Forest Fairy blew me away with its shimmer, a stunning grassy green.  I can't wait to use this with nail art.  Photos show 2 coats over a nude base coat topped with a shiny topcoat.

Next is Appearing In Daylight, a brilliant yellow with light holo shimmer.  This may be my other favorite.  It dries to a matte finish (photos without the studs show the matte).  I love a polish that surprises me.  Matte on it's own and then adding a shiny topcoat the holo shines through.  Photos show 2 coats over nude base coat topped with and without shiny topcoat.

Lastly is the flaky sparkliness of the glitter topper, Misapplied Magic.  Full of gold shards, Misapplied Magic goes perfect over any color.  I topped it over both green and yellow (but have seen it over red and blue on other blogger's manis and it looks amazing!).  Photos show just 1 coat.

Loves: Fun collection direction, joining a creative theme with bright summer colors.  Formula went on smoothly.  And can't forget Elysian Lacquer polishes are 5-free, vegan and cruelty free.  I can't wait to see what is in store for this new indie!

Wishes: More of an FYI...all polishes were a bit sheer, so if you do not use a nude base coat you will need 3+ coats for  full coverage.
