Greetings and Nailutations!
We are on day 2 of the Digit-al Dozen Throwback week and I chose to be inspired by old Halloween costumes. Yesterday I shared my Sally inspired mani and today I will share one of my favorite costumes EVAH!!!!
Let's get to the details!
If you didn't guess a bee costume, then you don't know me. I love bees! From trying to pet one when I was a toddler to having a bee themed wedding, bees have always been a part of my life. Here is the costume from 5 years ago. That "Keith Richards" beside me is the hubby. BeginNails is to Bees as Mr. BeginNails is to Keith Richards (and all things Rolling Stones).
Products used:
Polish 'M - Amber Flame
Bluebird Lacquer - Language and Cultural Anthbrology
Ever After Polish - Black Magic
Winstonia - W113 Plate
Ejiubas - EJB-08 Plate
Ellagee Polish - Lickity Split Latex Mani Mask (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper (press sample)
Glisten and Glow - Top Coat
For this mani I put Amber Flame on my pinky and ring finger and Language and Cultural Anthbrology went on my middle finger and pointer. The pinky and ring fingers were inspired by the honeycomb necklace I was wearing so I stamped using Black Magic and W113. The pointer and middle fingers are inspired by my bodice and I stamped using EJB-08 Plate and Black Magic.
While this is a really simple look, I love it because it's bees. (Obviously!) I hope you love it as much as I do. :)
Be sure to check out the other Throwbacks below!
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

ReplyDeleteOMG, the cuteness! Do you have any tutorials on how to use a stamper for beginners? I struggle getting a clean transfer onto my stamp. I feel like I move really quick, but it dries up on me...or something, lol

ReplyDeleteIve seen Keith Richards IRL. Your husband needs to go further into "Musician or Zombie" land.
