Digit-al Dozen: February Un-Birthday Mani

Greetings and Nailutations,

This month there is no February birthday to celebrate for the Digit-al Dozen, so this most adorable Kawaii-inspired print was chosen as our inspiration.  I loved the colors and the characters on the print, but I was drawn to the skulls.

Let's get to the details.

Products used:
Jenna Hipp - Rose Tart, Daft Pink, Pinky Promise
Drip Drop Nail Paint - Yoga Pants, Tighty Whities
Clear Jelly Stamper - stamper, clean up brush (press sample)
What's Up Nails - Creative Shop Stamper
Dream Polish - Gem Glam Top Coat (press sample)
Heather's Hues - Heart of the Matter

I used the stampers to create decals that I colored in (reverse stamping...or is it advanced stamping?).  I love how it turned out.

I decided to use a matte top coat too!  It gives the edgy skulls a soft look.

Are you in love with this pattern as much as I am?  Did you prefer matte or shiny?  Be sure to check out the other amazing manis inspired by the pattern from the other Digit-al Dozen gals!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

    1. I use them mostly for undies....and most of them stamper well. I like that they are teeny so I can travel with them easily.

  6. This is super cute. I always prefer a glossy finish, I feel like matte toppers suck the life out of the polish. Looks good both ways though!

  7. Awww those are the cutest skulls ever! I prefer matte topcoats for some manis, such as this one, where the glossy shine won't distract from the beautiful design.
