Digit-al Dozen: Black Textural Watermarble

Greetings and Nailutation,

It's day 4 for Digit-al Dozen with the prompt of black.  I've been enjoying all the finish and textural contrasts that I've been using so far this week for the theme.  Today I'll be sharing one of my favorite manis of the week!

Now let's get to the details!

Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint - Yoga Pants
Zoya - Dahlia
Stick It Nail Vinyls
Heather's Hues - Top That Top Coat

I started with Yoga Pants and topped it with Top That.  I let it dry for a good 15 minutes while I ate some popcorn (carefully!).  Then I grabbed some water marble vinyls and used Dahlia to create a great texture look.  I did not top coat so that I could keep the texture intact.

What do you think?  Are you a texture fan?  I will state for the record that I can't handle having texture on my nails for an extended period of time but I absolutely LOVE the look of it.

Don't forget to check out the other manis below from my Digit-al Dozen sisters.

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

  7. I'm right there with you - love the 'look' of textured polishes, but I rarely ever wear them because they drive me nuts!

    1. Right? I wish I could have the look w/o the feel. :) That's not asking too much right? Haha
