Beauty BigBang: BBB05 Stamping Plate Review

Greetings and Nailutation,

I have a long overdue review of a stamping plate to share with you today.  Seeing that I'm seeing Instagram stories and Facebook posts with snow, I guess it isn't too delayed.  Today I'm going to share BBB05 Stamping Plate from Beauty Bigbang.  This plate is winter themed and there are quite a few images that make perfect sweater nails.  Should you order, please consider using code KRIS10 for 10% off.

Let's get to the manis!

Before I start I will take a second to summarize my review - all the images of this plate picked up perfectly and I love the size of the images for my nails.

The first mani I will start with are the geometric snowflakes.  This image works both as a snowflake image but also just as a great design.  I used Anonymous Polish Mint To Be Green as my Base and stamped with Painted Polish Deux and added a little extra sparked with Cameo Colours Snowflakes On My Eyelashes.

The next mani is one of the great sweater patterns with snowflakes on the plate and I used Bohemian Polish Love Potion No 9 3/4 along with Ever After Polish Black Magic.  Pairing it with pink really made it a soft feminine winter mani.

Another great sweater pattern is used in the next mani.  I used Envy Lacquer Zapped Apple and Girly Bits Cosmetics Emerald.  I love doing monochromatic manis (single color, different shades).

When the snow is deep, the only way to get around is by sled, so the next mani features a sweater design with sleds.  I also used MTL Creations Frost Bite and Pish Plashin' Around by MPolish.

One of my favorite manis is another monochromatic look (purple on purple).  I used the knitted sweater pattern along with Polish 'M Small Batch Prototype 10 stamped with It Girl Nail Art Amethyst.

The last mani I have to share is another favorite, the plaid pattern.  I used Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Home For The Holidays stamp with Moonflower Dia acquired from Lantern and Wren.

Other products used in each mani:
Glisten and Glow - Top Coat
Heather's Hues - Heart of the Matter
Ellagee Polish - Lickity Split Latex Mani Mask (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper (press sample)

Loves: I love that each image picked up easily and transferred crisply.  I love all the patterns that resemble sweaters - sweater nails are all the trend for winter!

Wishes: I wouldn't change anything!

  8. While I am completely over sweater weather at this stage of winter these designs are super cute and I really like how you paired all the colors for a monochromatic look. Very clever!
