Pug Posse Nail Lacquer Fall Collection Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press sample*
I am so ready for Fall - it has been around 110 the last few days here in Arizona and I'm melting.  I long for the chill in the mornings, the leaves turning, the colors in fashion and nails!!  With that said, today I am sharing the fall collection from Pug Posse Nail Lacquer.  They will be available August 31st.

Photos shown in filtered light box and in LED light to simulate sunlight.

First up is Acorn, it is an orange-brown satin finished polish with gold micro-flakies.  Since it is a satin finish, you must have a light hand with the brush or you get visible brush strokes (do as I say, not as a do - I'm heavy handed!).  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Cinnamon Cider, a light brown/tan holographic polish with iridescent micro glitters of purple, aqua and orange.  Cinnamon Cider is a perfect neutral to wear to work if you need to keep it professional and upon closer inspection (in the macro) you can see those amazing iridescent glitters.  Photos show 2 easy coats with shiny top coat.

Cornucopia is a dark brown creme with golden shimmer and gold and green small holographic hex glitters.  If you love dark browns, this is the polish for you this Fall.  Photos show 2 coat with shiny top coat.

Falling Leaves is up next and it is a pinky-tan satin finish polish.  I had a difficult relationship with this polish.  I love the color and in the macro you pick up greens and reds of shimmer, but I struggled with brush strokes due to a heavy hand.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

My favorite of the collection is Many Blessings.  Many Blessings is a soft grey beige or greige if you will.  It is such an original color and I was drawn to it.  Formula was perfection and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last polish of the collection is Solstice.  Now this polish is like a puzzle, to really understand what is going on you zoom out and see this color shifting polish with pinks to reds and tans.  Then, you zoom in on the brush macro or nail macro and you see it's made of all these flakie pieces and get hits of blue.  Photos show 2 perfect coats and shiny top coat.

Loves: I'm so ready for autumn colors.  I love the originality of Many Blessings and Solstice.  I love that the entire collection is hues of brown.

Wishes: Obviously I wish I had a lighter hand with satin finishes.  I love the look of satin finished, I just can never get them to cooperate with me and not leave brush strokes.
