Greetings and Nailutations,
*Press Sample*
Today I have a fun collection from Bluebird Lacquer called the Rainbroversity Collection. The Rainbroversity Collection consists of 6 buttery cremes and a flakie topper. She also sent me her matte top coat, Nothing Else Matters and her water marbling clear polish, Spaced Out. That's right - THIS COLLECTION WATERMARBLES! This is one of the easiest collections I've used to water marble - they practically water marbled on their own! :)
Now let's get to the swatches. *Picture heavy post.*
I will preface this with what I used for the swatches:
Base is 1 coat of Glisten and Glow Ridge Relief Base Coat
Top Coat: Nothing Else Matters from Bluebird Lacquer and HK Girl Top Coat from Glisten and Glow
Filtered light - light box
Simulated Sunlight - LED lights
I will start with the beginning of the "rainbro" showing you Ambrocrombie and Fitch. You will notice right away the names of these polishes are hilarious and had me laughing - I also had a sudden urge to chest bump my bros. :) Ambrocrombie and Fitch is a nice red creme, like a ripe red apple. Photos show 2 coats that went on smoothly - no top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos). I wanted to show you how shiny the finish is on them.
Next is Advanced Algebrah is the perfect orange fall creme. It has a touch of "burnt" orange to it to really give you the imagery of fall foliage. Photos show 2 creamy coats with no top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).
Language and Cultural Anthbrology is the yellow in the rainbro. Now yellow doesn't get enough love in the nail world, but this yellow has a pinch of fall added in to provide a dusty yellow hue. Photos show 2 coats - no top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).
Green is the next in the rainbro and we have Molecular Brology. (These names are EVERYTHING!) The green in my eyes has a hint of olive, a pinch of forest and a dash of deep dark green. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).
Quid Bro Quo is the blue that has a deep dusty hue to it. I really love this creamy blue shade and photos show 2 coats with no top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).
The last of the cremes is Bromo Erectus. Promo Erectus is a purple creme with the same great formula as all the others. Photos show 2 coats with no top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).
The last polish of the collection is the flakie topper called Leaves Out Sleeves Out. Do you see fall leaves? This topper pairs nicely with all the polishes in the collection, but my favorite is with Quid Bro Quo and Molecular Brology. It contains irridescent flakies, copper, orange, bronze and teal/green. Photos show 1 coat over Quid Bro Quo, Molecular Brology, Advanced Algebrah and a black all topped with HK Girl Top Coat (1st and 2nd photos) and matte top coat (3rd and 4th photos).
Here are the nail art looks that I created that will be shown off later! Yes, that is water marbling!! Sorry I made them so tiny, I didn't want to spoil the looks too much! :)
Loves: Formula formula formula - these cremes are so buttery perfect they self level. I also love her brushes, they make clean up so easy for me. I love that they water marble (and stamp - I tested that, you'll see in the YouTube video). And my love of punny names hit the nail (pun intended) on the head with this collection.
Wishes: I wouldn't suggest any improvements on this collection - my only wish is that I wish I had the other Rainbro Collections! Luckily I can do that in just a few short days!
Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to get a notification when I publish the swatch video, which will include water marbling!
These release August 18th and will be $8 for single and $52 for entire 7 piece collection. You can also pick up the previous 2 Rainbro Collections! (Which after using this one, that will be me!)

As I was scrolling down the post I kept asking but do they water marble? Looks like they DO! Can't wait to see more details on those nail arts!
ReplyDeleteI love your nailutations intro :-) amazing swatches
ReplyDeleteomggggggggggggggggg I love Quid Bro Quo and Leaves Out Sleeves Out! I really hope she has them for sale at The Polish Convention.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love all of these! I actually prefer them matte the most!
ReplyDeleteI was SO excited when you said this collection watermarbles. I usually prefer bright colours for nail art rather than on their own (too chicken) so I would love to use some of these for watermarbling. Your nail art collage has me all excited! Can't wait to see the looks on their own.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous swatches. This collection has it all, and the flakie topper and water marbling are icing on the cake!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I'm feeling oranges lately, but I am! That topper is fabulous too!
