Today is the last day of the Digit-al Dozen Week Story Genres. The entire week I have use actual books for my inspiration which coincidentally were also movies! Today is no different and I am using True Grit, a western for my inspiration. There are actually 2 movies, one from 1969 and one from 2010. I read the book first and then watched the 2010 movie and then the 1969. I am a Jeff Bridges fan, so I really enjoyed the 2010 version and the book is great too!
Let's get to the details.
Products used:
O.P.I. - Tiramisu For Two
Sally Hansen - Terra-Coppa
Ever After Polish - Black Magic
Heather's Hues - Heart of the Matter
Winstonia - W214 Plate
Vivid Lacquer - VL038 Plate
Ellagee Polish - Lickity Split Latex Mani Mask (press sample)
I used Tiramisu For Two for my base on all fingers. On my pointer and middle finger I dry brushed Terra-Coppa on to get a little sparkle on the snake skin. I stamped with Black Magic and topped it all with Heart Of the Matter.
True Grit is a wester with a little comedy. It includes a hunt for a criminal with a nice reward and a snake bite! I won't give anything away because the book and movies are really good!
