Digit-al Dozen: Story Genres - The Blindside

Greetings and Nailutations,

It is day 3 of the Digit-al Dozen and our focus is on story genres.  I decided to interpret this as books I've read and I'm continuing with the theme of non-fiction with being inspired by a heart warming book called The Blindside.  If this sounds familiar - it is also a movie (both the book and movie are wonderful).

Let's get to the details.

Products used:
Polish 'M - Royal and Denim (press sample/purchase)
Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper (press sample)
Ever After Polish - Black Magic (press sample)
Glisten and Glow - Ridge Relief Base Coat, HK Girl Top Coat
Ribbits Stickits - Cuticle Cover
Jenna Hipp - American Pie
Vivid Lacquer - VL029 Plate
Winstonia - W103 Plate
Girly Bits Cosmetics - Golden Ticket, Fire Engine Red

If you are not familiar with The Blindside it is the story of Michael Oher, an offensive tackle.  He started his life in an uphill battle (difficult family life, poverty, local gang violence) and it shows his hard work in addition to the support he got from people who believed in him push him to excel in sports, graduate high school and getting into college.  After college he was drafted in to the NFL.  I decided to do a mani showing books - he studied hard and the 3 teams he has played for: Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and Caroline Panthers.

Pointer has book stamped with Black Magic, middle finger has Royal stamped with Black Magic and dotted with Golden Ticket, ring finger has Denim stamped with Fire Engine Red and dotted with American Pie and lastly the pinky is stamped with Black Magic and dotted with Denim.

While I'm not a huge sports spectator, I really enjoy non-fiction stories about their lives.
Check out the other manis below!

Happy Polishing,
