It's day numero 2 for the Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art prompt. During my search for art on the inter-webs I wanted something simple and vibrant. That led me to a piece entitled Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue? from Barnett Newman. This piece stuck with me due to use of dominant red and how it takes over the image.
Now let's get to the details!
Products Used:
Rimmel - Stiletto Red
Simply Spoiled Nail Art Pens
SuperChic Lacquer - Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat
Heather's Hues - Heart of the Matter
I love the simplicity of the mani and the use of bright colors. I don't use primary colors nearly enough.
I also had to see how it looks with matte top coat too!
Do you have any pieces of vibrantly colored art in your home? We have 1 piece with primary colors along with black and white, but nothing else. I think I need to add more bright colors to the walls! Be sure to check out the other pieces of art below from the Digit-al Dozen crew!
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
