It's another installment of 3 empties, where I review 3 products I have used up and express my opinion on how well they worked, how they smelled, their packaging and if I'd make a repeat purchase.
Now let's get to the empties!
The first product that I used up is Bath and BodyWorks Gentle Foaming Hand Soap. You know I love the foaming hand soaps (the shower gels and foaming hand soaps are the only things I purchase from Bath and BodyWorks).
Scent: Maple Sugar Kiss - think of delicious cookies. I had this out during the holidays when my family all came here and every person who came out of the guest bathroom stated "wow, your soap smells good!" Even the kids loved washing their hands because their hands smelled like cookies!
Feel: foaming lather
Feel: foaming lather
Packaging: pump dispenser
Buy Again: Yep! Love the foaming soap and trying out new scents.
The next product is Glam Glow SuperMud Clearing Treatment. This was my first Glam Glow product and was really excited about it because I had heard many great things about it.

Scent: Minty mud...sort of? Difficult to describe.
Feel: Thick mud with pieces of "things." Yes things. The first time I applied the mud, I was very confused because it was like it was scooped up from outside, so there was sticks, bark and I swear I picked out a log!

Packaging: screw top, I applied it with a cleansed make up brush because this stuff is thick and would get stuck under my nails.
Buy Again: I will have to pass on this product. The scent was off-putting, the (trees) sticks were dangerous and I seemed to break out with 1 or 2 pimples the following morning after use.
The last product is Kirkland Signature's Daily Facial Towelettes. I used this post removing make up to get any extra bits of make up that were remaining.

Scent: Sterile - too sterile. Smelled like a hospital - like medicine in a hospital.
Feel: Soft towelette with plenty of "juice" to wipe my face. Felt fresh.

Packaging: My husband bought a Costco package of these, so I have about 597 more bags to go through.
Buy Again: No, as these will probably last me until I'm 78. :)
Have you tried any of these products? Did you have different experiences with them? Do you put date of purchase on your products?
Happy Emptying,

I snorted at Minty Mud.
ReplyDeleteYikes - don't snort minty mud. Probably will screw up your sinuses. LOL
DeleteThose Daily Facial Towelettes sound good. The water here is so drying, I'd prefer to wash my face with it as little as possible.
ReplyDeleteOh that would be hard!
DeleteI need to get my hands on some of that yummy hand soap :)
ReplyDeleteJust don't eat it! :) haha
DeleteHahah oh costco purchases. My boyfriend is insistent on finding the perfect toilet paper but only wants to buy from costco...and the last time he bought one ply TP. Never again.
ReplyDelete1 ply - oh hell no!
DeleteBath and body works anything is a winner to me. I can spend an entire hour in the store just sniffing and still leave undecided from all the choices!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I hear you!
DeleteI keep losing the facial wipe packs my mom gives me. Then I get panda eyes when I travel, lol
ReplyDeleteHAHA! But I bet you are a cute panda!
DeleteB&BW is my jam! Love those soaps
ReplyDelete:) Me too!
DeleteI'm slowly working through my box of Costco towelettes, but since I don't use them exclusively, it's a slow process. I also love the foaming hand soaps from B&BW!
ReplyDeleteRight? Costco products I feel sometimes reproduce while you're not looking too.
DeleteThank you for Sharing this nice information it is very informatics and Very good looking blog. Best hygiene dispenser manufacturer
ReplyDeleteThe foaming soap is all I buy! I wait for the $2.95 and combine it with coupons.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I swear I only arrive when there are huge sales and I feel like the luckiest person ever!
DeleteThat Glam Glow stuff sounds awful! Also I hate getting dirty so I'd hate using anything resembling mud.
ReplyDeleteThen you definitely wouldn't like it - mud on your face for reals.
DeleteI have the white GlamGlow though I haven't opened it yet. It gave you breakouts? Scary! I'll have to give mine away.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone's skin is a little different. Maybe it will work for you? I just noticed more break outs (1-2) after each use weekly.
DeleteAwesome empties! I love Glamglow products :)
ReplyDeleteI have more to try out - I hope they work for me. :)
DeleteMaple Sugar Kiss sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteOMG - it was so yummy!
DeleteI will be sure to avoid the minty mud!!! I prefer for my mud masks to not include bits of nature! :P
ReplyDeleteLOL! Right?
DeleteI love getting my hand soaps from Bath and Body Works -- it's so fun to go pick out a bunch of fun scents for the season!
ReplyDeleteThey have so many options! I love it!
