April Polish Pick Up: It Girl Nail Art LE110

Today I have It Girl Nail Art product for April's Polish Pick Up! April's theme is Famous Works of Art and I couldn't wait to see what Nicole created. Let me tell you - she did not let me down! As you can see there are art works inspired by Piet Mondrian (squares) and Jackson Pollock (splatters). My husband loves Piet Mondrian and Jackson Pollack and we have works of art that my husband actually painted that resemble them.

Beauty Bigbang Nail Art Dotting Pen Review

Today I am sharing a dotting tool that is like none I have ever seen or used before. This baby is from Beauty Big Bang and is under $5! The Professional Nail Art Tool Nail Art Drawing Pen Brush Nail Dotting Tool is a tool that has a pen and 5 dotting sizes all in 1! I was a little intimidated by it and was at a loss as to how to use the pen. I've since decided I need to do some more intricate work to show the pen in all it's glory.

Digit-al Dozen: 90's Alternative Plaid
Greetings and Nailutations!
It is the final day for the Decades prompt with the Digit-al Dozen. I am ending the week with 90's. What do you think of with 90's? Did you say alternative music? Grunge? Then ding-ding-ding, that is what I was thinking too! I lived in Washington state (near Seattle) during the 90's and experienced full on local artists of Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I wore in high school plaid and I was lucky enough to have 2 sisters where we could all share each other's clothes, so really I had 3 wardrobes worth of plaid.
Now let's to the mani!

It's a Digit-al Dozen week and the theme is Decades! I was really drawn to this theme and I made a list of fun ideas. When it came down to it though, I had to give myself a reality check and what I am capable of (especially if I don't have a stamping plate of the images I want). I decided to start with the 50's.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative - Winter Citrus Mani
Greetings and Nailutations!
Continuing with my blog resolutions, I am adding more nail art to my blog. Today I am sharing a mani for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. The theme for the month is "winter." I was trying to think of what winter means in Arizona (a state in the USA that is mostly desert). November through January is citrus season here! Our 7 citrus trees are bright and bearing fruit right now (1 lemon, 1 cocktail, 1 grapefruit and 4 orange trees). (A cocktail tree is a grafted tree where each branch has a different fruit - so there is a branch of navel oranges, grapefruit, lemon, tangerine and lime.) So, I decided to make a citrus mani!
Now let's get to the mani details!

Digit-al Dozen: Colour Contrasts Pink and Blue Skittlette
Greetings and Nailutations!
It's Digit-al Dozen week and this week the theme is Colour Contrasts (or Color if you prefer). I'm an equal opportunity speller and embrace being able to mix and match spellings (grey vs gray). OK, enough with my lecturing on unity. :) So....as you can see, I had a nail shape change...(for 1 mani). I love the shape of squoval/square, but for the life of me, I can't do it without scratching myself and drawing blood. So after this mani, you'll see it go back to round.

It Girl Nail Art IG110 Plate Manis Part 1

Nicole from It Girl released a few new plates and this one was calling to me since it is covered in STEM images (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) - IG1110 Plate. I will also mention that she recently released her fall scents for cuticle oil too (Apple Cider, Candied Ginger, Chai Latte, Cinnamon Roll, Pumpkin Pie and Rosemary Fig).
Now let's get to those manis!
