Vixen Lacquers Summer Festival Colletion Swatch and Review

Today I have the Vixen Laquers Summer Festival Collection to share.  The collection was inspired by EDM (Electronic Dance Music) Festivals.  The collection contains a glitter crelly, 2 glitter jellies and 2  glitter toppers and all are available now.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Neon Lights, which is one of my favorites.  Neon Lights is a vivid blue jelly with bright neon yellow matte hexes in a few sizes.  The formula was spot on and I love the look of this polish because the yellow neon glitters transition to neon green as the blue is built up - so creative!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st-6th photos) and matte top coat (7th, 8th and 9th photos).

Next is a glitter topper called From Dusk Til Dawn.  It contains bright blue and gold holographic hexes as well as silver holographic micro glitter.  The colors draw on sunsets and sunrises...a play off the name.  Photos show 2 coats dabbed on over Jenna Hipp's I Surf With Boys with shiny top coat.

P.L.U.R. is up next and it is a soft and delicate glitter crelly.  P.L.U.R. stands for Peace, Love, Unity and Respect.  This white crelly contains pastel pink, white, green, lavender matte hexes and pink matte squares.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th, 6th and 7th photos).  Slight glitter fishing was needed to place the glitters on my nail.

The second glitter topper is called Rave Bra.  It contains light pink holographic squares, magenta-purple circles and holographic dust!  Photos show 1 coat dabbed on with glitter placement over Jenna Hipp's I Cast A Spell On Blue with shiny top coat.  Slight glitter fishing was needed.

The last polish is a reformulated version of a previous release called Under The Electric Sky 2.0.  It is a black jelly which contains silver holographic hexes and turquoise micro glitters and squares.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st - 5th photos) and matte top coat (6th, 7th and 8th photos).

Loves: I love Vixen Lacquers' formula.  They apply evenly and smoothly.  I love the vision for color and finish in this collection.  And I love that her products are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the harsh chemicals that can be found in some nail polish.

Vixen Lacquers Valentines Come Back Collection Swatch and Review

Today I have the Vixen Laquers Valentine's Come Back Collection to share.  Vixen Lacquers took a little break and is now back with a great new collection for Valentine's Day!  Liz, the owner of Vixen Lacquers, has a great vision for color and finish.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is I've Got A Crush On You, which is a coral glitter jelly.  I've Got A Crush On You contains pink square glitter, red micro glitter and the best part....gold flakes!  It applied nicely and of course I had to show some matte top coat photos as well!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd and 3rd photos) and matte top coat (4th and 5th photos).

Next is my favorite of the collection, Singles Awareness Day.  Singles Awareness Day is a light grey holo infused crelly that contains pink and black small hexes, silver micro hexes and silver holographic shards.  I love the dimension this polish has!  Perfectly smooth formula which made application a breeze.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd and 3rd photos) and matte top coat (4th and 5th photos).

The last polish is Love Is In The Air, a light blue glitter jelly.  Love Is In The Air contains pink square glitter and pink and silver holographic glitters.  Again, formula is easy to work with and applied nicely.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st and 2nd photos) and matte top coat (3rd and 4th photos).

Loves: I love Vixen Lacquers' formula.  They apply evenly and smoothly.  The color combinations from Liz are always fun and exciting.  I also love that her products are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the nasty chemicals that can be found in some nail polish.
