Digit-al Dozen: Inspired by Painted Fingertips

Greetings and Nailutations!

It is the last day of the Digit-al Dozen and I did a HUGE oops.  (I'll get into details about it below.)  Today I was inspired by Kerry of Painted Fingertips and her drip marble manis!  Drip marbles are so fun and easy and every finger will always be unique!

Let's get to the details!

Products used:
Bliss Polish - NFG Bling
Ribbits Stickits - Un-frog-gettable Cuticle Cover (press sample)
Contrary Polish - Can't tell you (press sample)
Noodles Nail Polish - Can't tell you (press sample)
Glisten and Glow - Top Coat

OK, did you see that above.  "Can't tell you"...well that means I spaced on dates of released polishes and used them in a mani I did for this week when they release next week!!  OOPS!  Shhhh, don't tell anyone.  :)  I'll reveal the polishes next Friday with the swatches and more nail art.

Drip marbling is super easy, drip polish on a plastic lid from at least 3 different polishes (different finishes make it much more interesting design).  I drip 6 drops of color A, then drip color B right on top of the 6 earlier drops and then repeat with color C.  I did another layer of A, B C on top of that - they should start oozing into each other.  The last part is taking that lid and making the polish flow, dance and mix to create a marbling effect.  Once I created the designs I liked, I let it dry overnight and cut it into nail shaped decals.  I paint a sticky base coat and Cuticle Cover on and place the decals on.  It's then topped with a glossy top coat.

I hope you love these!  Be sure to check out the manis down below as well as Kerry's socials too!

  11. This is very pretty. You make it sound so easy but I know I'd have trouble cutting out the shapes.
