Today I am sharing an international indie brand called Lyz Cosmetics. Lyz Cosmetics is based in Singapore and they have a new collection called The Royal Tea Room that is filled with delicious glitter crellies. They aren't just visually appealing, but these polishes are also scented! I was sent two to review in a beautiful gold foil draw string pouch. Now let's get to some swatches!
First is Mind Your Minters, a soft light blue minty glitter crelly. Can you guess what it smells like? If you guessed mint, you are right! It has a light mint scent when dried. Mind Your Minters contains light pink medium and small hexes, coral small hexes, turquoise and black micro hexes and turquoise and silver glitter dust/shimmer. Formula was easy to work with and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.
The second polish is called Candy Jewels. Candy Jewels is a lavender glitter crelly with a scent of lavender. The color palette of the glitters is like a rainbow of jewels! Large pink hexes, light pink, gold, black, lavender small hexes and white and light pink circles, red and green squares and black micro hexes all are floating around in a perfect lavender creme with just the slightest hint of shimmer. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.
Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from www.dreampolish.com
Loves: Wonderful formula with zero glitter fishing. I also love the collection as a whole, the other glitter crellies look amazing! Great color combinations that really feature the creme and bring it to life with the glitters.
Wishes: While I love the idea of a scented polish, it is difficult to fully appreciate it when a top coat masks the scent. I did cheat with Candy Jewels and used a Lavender scented top coat to get the full effect! Haha.
Head to Lyz Cosmetics and check out The Royal Tea Room Collections. Which makes you drool the most? For me, Rose Jelly looks AMAZING!
