Digit-al Dozen: August Birthday Mani

Greetings and Nailutations!

In August the Digit-al Dozen had a ton of birthdays!  And the photo selected threw me for a loop!  So many colors, did I want to simplify or try a complex approach.  I love when the photo makes me think or challenges me.

Let's get to the birthdays!

Here is everyone who had a birthday in August!  Be sure to follow them!
Lothwen of Manis and Makeovers
Sarah of 25 Sweetpeas
Michelle of Lacquer or Leave Her
Tamara of Canadian Nail Fanatic
Kirsty of Fairytales Nails

Products used:
Rogue Lacquer - Glow (press sample)
Bliss Polish - Bebe En La Playa
Jenna Hipp - Jenna and the Giant Peach, Better Slate Than Never, Throwing Shade
Painted Polish - Deux
Girly Bits Cosmetics - Polish Matte'rs
Ribbits Stickits - Un-Frog-gettable Cuticle Cover
Lyn B Designs - White Fang

I started with a base of White Fang and then after protecting my nails with Cuticle Cover, I used a fan brush to create the gradient.  I used a dotting tool  to create the clouds and Deux brushed on for the mountains.  Everything it topped with Polish Matte'rs.
