Digit-al Dozen: 5's All Around

Greetings and Nailutations,

It is Day 4 of the Digit-al Dozen week celebrating the group's 5th birthday.  I did a "Bee-day" mani, a bouquet of 5 petaled flowers and yesterday did a high five mani!  Today I am sharing five different 5's on my nails.

Let's get to the details.

Products used:
Peachtree Polish - Havana
China Glaze - Mingle With Kringle
Lantern and Wren - Mani Defender (affiliate code with 10% off)
Messy Mansion - Crystal 02 Plate (acquired through Lantern and Wren affiliate code with 10% off)
Girly Bits Cosmetics - Golden Ticket
Daily Charme - #5 charm
Simply Spoiled Beauty - black nail art pen
Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper (press sample)
Glisten and Glow - Top Coat and Base Coat (press sample)

Before I get into the details, I have 5 different types of 5's on my nails.  Can you identify them before I explain them?  Answers will be at the bottom
  • Number 5 (that we use)
  • Mayan 5
  • Braille 5
  • Egypt 5
  • Roman 5
I started off with 2 nails being adorned in Havana and 2 in Mingle With Kringle (yes I know I'm using a winter holiday polish really early).  The pointer was stamped with Golden Ticket and Crystal 02 Plate.  My middle finger got a nice charm (what are the odds that I had a 5?).  My ring finger was striped with a striper and my pinky got a few bumps and a stripe.

So, do you know what is what on my nails?
  • Number 5 --> charm on my middle finger
  • Mayan 5 --> the straight line ____, which is on both my ring finger and pinky
  • Braille 5 --> 2 dots that are on my pinky
  • Egypt 5 --> the 5 vertical lines on my ring finger
  • Roman 5 --> the V on my pointer finger
I've been blown away this week at the manis I'm seeing from my Digit-al Dozen sisters - the creativity is amazing.

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

  1. So interesting! And I believe 'our' 5 is Arabic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_numerals
