It Girl Nail Art IG118 Stamping Plate Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I am sharing my review and thoughts on It Girl Nail Art IG118 Plate.  Every so often a stamping plate is created that says so much, that makes a statement and that resonates with me.  It Girl's IG118 plate did that for me.  Coinciding with LGBTQ Pride month (June), Nicole of IGNA has created a Pride LGBTQ, BLM, peace, safety pin, ally, equality plate.  So much is expressed in this plate, it made my heart warm.  There are so many images that I was familiar with but also some that I had to use the power of the internet to get information on (like all the different striped images).

Now let's get to the nail art!

Here is a quick test of some of the images using the Big Bling Stamper on paper.  All images picked up cleanly.

The first image I recognized was the Human Rights Campaign symbols and since both my husband and I donate to HRC, I had to do a simple yet meaningful mani in honor of that.  I used Mango Bunny Honey Bunny, Jenna Hipp's American Pie and topped it all with a matte top coat.  The image picked up smoothly (I did lift my stamper every so slightly causing the line you may or may not see).  I shared this mani in the IGNA fan group on Facebook and someone informed me they would be using that stamp for their daughter's wedding.  <3  My heart melted.

Next I wanted to surround myself with peace.  If you emit peaceful energy, you will push that to others and receive in it in kind (ok, the hippy in me is showing).  I really believe the energy you put out comes back to you.  I wanted to used an untried polish Howling Boutique's Supermoon Stellar Stream and I stamped IGNA Currant over it.  I added some additional sparkle with Drip Drop Nail Paint's Bling Bling - hey I if I put sparkle out in the world, sparkle will come back!  :)  I topped it with a shiny top coat.

The next mani I used the safety pin images.  I used Envy Lacquer's Snowbirds from the Crazy for Crellies Facebook Group and stamped with Painted Polish Deux.  It's topped with a shiny top coat.

I had to do a rainbow mani with LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE and LOVE WINS.  Marriage equality is important to me as an ally.  I used O.P.I. Tiramisu For Two as a base and did a stamper smoosh mani using Simply Spoiled Beauty nail art pens.  I also used Drip Drop Nail Paint Yoga Pants and Tighty Whities.  I did a video of this mani, which I will link.

This last mani, I had already posted about here.  But I wanted to share it here too!

Loves: I love love love this plate.  All of the images picked up crisply and cleanly.  Nicole isn't afraid to express her passion about social issues and I respect and honor that.

Wishes: I really can't think of anything missing from this plate.  The only thing I would suggest is a description of all the symbols on the website as I didn't recognize them all.
