Today I am sharing a new indie on the block - Pug Posse Nail Lacquer! As you can tell by the name, she is a mother of pugs. :) She is coming out with 2 debut collections (and I will add that she was already selling wax melts - so you can grab both melts AND nail polish at the same time!!!) and this first one I will be sharing is the Take Us To Mars Collection, which contains 4 neon crellies.
Now let's get to the photos!
First up is Strawberry Champagne, which is a neon pink crelly. Photos show 3 coats with shiny top coat.
Next is a neon orange crelly called One Carrot. I realized I don't have a neon orange in my collection that is this vibrant. This is my favorite of the collection and photos show 3 coats with shiny top coat.
For the green lovers, there is Grenade - the neon green crelly. Again, this shows 3 coats with shiny top coat.
Lastly is Kiss The Moon, the bright blue neon crelly. Photos show 3 coats with shiny top coat. (Top coat provided some bubbles.)
Special treat! Did you know that the formula on these polishes work well with water marbling? See the test I did on a swatch stick with the 4 colors!
Loves: I love the bright colors that Michelle, the creator behind Pug Posse Nail Lacquer, came up with for this collection. I love that the formula works for water marbling as well! These crellies are perfect for lead lighting stamping too! Wait until you see one of the nail looks I created with the collection! (You will have to wait to see it on instagram!
Wishes: I wish this collection contained a yellow and a purple - those are my favorite neon colors. Neons are notorious for being difficult for mixing as dry pigment is used to mix with a base. I did notice a few very tiny pigment balls/clumps, but they were few and far between and did not impact any of the swatches.
So what do you think of Take Us To Mars Collection? I'm impressed and can't wait to show you the 2nd collection!
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
These all look so perfectly squishy! I think the orange is my favorite too although they all look fabulous!
ReplyDelete:) They really are total squish!
DeleteYess, they are so bright and squishy! And, THAT MARBLE NAIL! I hope we get to see a full marbled mani soon :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerry - I need to do one this weekend! :)
DeleteLoving the first two- especially the Orange! They remind me of jell-o, which I love especially in the summertime! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteYummy!
DeleteThe water marble is amazing! I do wish these were more opaque because I hate VNL on me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle! A nude base or white undie would do the trick.
DeleteThat hot pink = I feel I need to own every hot pink ever made. for all eternity, lol. Love the watermarble.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteI love all of these, but I'm pretty obsessed with neons. I'm loving the pink and orange the most. The water marble is gorgeous!
