It's been too many days away from my blog - this last week at work has been rough and I also started trying to eat better this week too, so meal prep/planning takes time away from blogging. But the good news is the work craziness should get better after next week AND I've lost almost 4 pounds!
Today I will be sharing a mani for the groups 30 Days of Colour and Nail Challenge Collaborative. I am combining 2 prompts: orange and neon. Funny story - I grabbed this orange, threw it on & was confused. It looked pink on me. Then a quick google search told me that it was a THERMAL! SURPRISE!
Let's get to the details!
Products used:
Girly Bits Cosmetics - Bassackwards (thermal from A Box Indied)
Girly Bits Cosmetics - GBC 1-01 Plate
Girly Bits Cosmetics - What A Rush Top Coat
Easy Peel - Latex Barrier
Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper (press sample)
I started with a swatch of Bassackwards and topped it with What A Rush Top coat. This thermal was in A Box Indied - the September 2015 box and IT.STILL.WORKS! I was so impressed the thermal was still very sensitive and gave me a nice french tip transition on my pinky/ring fingers. Pointer and middle fingers I had to utilize a cold pack to keep the entire nail orange.
Then I decided to stamp over it with GBC 1-01 and Cobal with my Big Bling Stamper. It's all topped with What A Rush. I love how it turned out and loved the surprised this polish threw at me.
Be sure to check out the other the other neon manis below!
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
Thermals always throw me when I grab one! Also, love that you use the term 'bassackwards,' I didn't know other people still used it!
