Or maybe I should have said Peace & Love my Groovy Readers. :) We are continuing with decades in the Digit-al Dozen and today I have my mani for 60's. Yesterday I did my take on 50's using saddle shoes and polk-a-dots and today I went with tie-dye and paisley.
Now let's get to the mani!
I started with a white base of Tighty Whities and used the dry brush technique and the Color Pants to create designs that looked like tie-dye.
Products used:
Tighty Whities (white base) and Yoga Pants (stamping color) from Drip Drop Nail Paint
Color paints (sheer colors) from O.P.I.
Fashionista 11 (stamping plate) from MoYou London
Stamper and Clean up brush from Clear Jelly Stamper (press sample)
Latex Barrier from Nail Experiments (to be rebranded)
Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish (press sample)
Heart of the Matter from Heather's Hues
Then I used the paisley designs to stamp over. That's it! OK, that's not it...I also had to see what it looked like with matte.
So, are you seeing the grooviness I was going for? Does this mani show it's inner love child from the 60's?
Be sure to see the other manis below from the other Digit-al Dozen members! I am loving all the flash backs!
