Day 4 of the Digit-al Dozen does Colour Contrasts and I decided to go with my college colors from a few (*cough* maybe 10...ok ok 15 years ago). It seems like college colors are all contrasting colors - I wonder if that was planned? I decided to pair purple and yellow, but used pastels!
Now let's get to the mani!
OK...so a plan doesn't always turn out the way you see it inside your head. I wanted to water marble, then I had a few bubbles and I got frustrated and stamped over it. (The best way to hide mistakes I have found!)
Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint: Don't Be Jelly, Bounce Around (press samples), Yoga Pants
What's Up Nails: Water Marble Tool
Dream Polish: Gem Glam Top Coat, Gem Block Liquid Latex (press samples)
China Glaze: White on White
Cici&Sisi: 04 plate
Clear Jelly Stamper: stamper, clean up brush
Here is the original water marble. I started with a white base of China Glaze's White on White and added Gem Glam Top Coat. I water marbled with Don't Be Jelly and Bounce Around and used the What's Up Nails water marble tool.
Since I wasn't pleased with my little bubbles, I added a stamp!
Be sure to check out the other fun contrasting manis below from other members of the Digit-al Dozen. :)
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
