I'm on a 3 Empties roll! It's another installment of 3 empties, where I review 3 products I have used up and express my opinion on how well they worked, how they smelled, their packaging and if I'd make a repeat purchase.
First up is Aveda Moisturizer. I got this in a hotel room (believe it or not) and was really impressed. I had heard good things about the Aveda brand so I knew I had to take it home with me. It was non-greasy and absorbed quickly into my hands. I kept this at my desk at work.
Smell: unscented, which I enjoyed because I could pair it with a cuticle oil that had a scent.
Feel: moisturizing and absorbed quickly
Packaging: trial size, screw cap, plastic container
Buy Again: If I ever run out of moisturizer (I have a huge plastic bag full of moisturizers) - I will look into Aveda.
Next is cuticle oil I won in a giveaway a year ago (maybe?) from Northern Star Polish. I've been using it at work over the last month and enjoying the sweet mint scent.
Smell: Scent is Mintastic - a soft sweet mint scent.
Feel: absorbed relatively quickly
Packaging: doe foot applicator with twist off cap.
Buy Again: I still have 2 other cuticle oils from Northern Star Polish. I like that the scents aren't too over powering, but linger long enough on my nails that I still get the soft sweet mint. If I ever run out of cuticle oil - I would look into purchasing.

Last product is a trial size of Pantene Anti-Frizz Shampoo. I'm unsure where I got this, but I love hair products so it was used up rather quickly - I also have super thick frizzy hair - so I was hoping this product could tame my mane.
Smell: sweet with notes of fruit - really great scent to wake me up in the shower.
Feel: left my hair feeling strong, and slightly weighted down to control the frizz
Packaging: trial size with twist off cap
Buy Again: Yes - love me some shampoo that keeps my frizz under control.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
Happy Emptying!

I love Northern Star's cuticle oil! I've used up a few tubes myself! <3
ReplyDeleteTWINS! LOL - I think I have another Mintastic and a Lettuce scent. :)
DeleteI love doe foot applicators for cuticle oil. They're great for gently pushing back the skin while you oil them up.
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of doing that! Thanks for the tip! :)
DeleteI've never seen a cuticle oil with a doe foot applicator. I bet that's nice!
ReplyDeleteI need to use it with the deer snap chat filter...mind blown! :)
DeleteYay, more empties! I love the idea of a doefoot applicator for oil!
ReplyDelete:)
