HPB Presents Gradient of Snowflakes

Greetings and Nailutations,

It is time for another link up with my Hobby Polish Blogger family!  Our theme this month is "Gradient."  A gradient is a transition of color across your nails (vertical, circular, horizontal, diagonal).  My thoughts were with the folks on the East Coast experiencing a blizzard (since I am sitting in 70+ degree weather in Arizona), so I made a gradient with snowflakes stamped over it.

Now let's get to the mani!

Drip Drop Nail Paint Tighty Whities (white)
Joha's Love Nail Polish Winter Clouds (grey)
Drip Drop Nail Paint Yoga Pants (black)
Dream Polish Gem Glam Top Coat (fast drying top coat)
Clear Jelly Stamper CJS-03 (snowflake images)
What's Up Nails Creative Nail Stamper (stamper/scraper)
Scented Nail Tape Cuticula (liquid latex)
Girly Bits Cosmetics Polish Matte'rs (matte top coat)

I started with a nude base coat and took a sponge with Tighty Whtities, Winter Clouds and Yoga Pants swatched on the sponge in stripes.  I then lightly dabbed it on my nails repeating adding polish and dabbing until I got the opacity I wanted.  I then added Gem Glam Top Coat to ensure there was no smudging when I stamped.  I used CJS-03 plate with Tighty Whities and my Creative Shop Stamper to add snowflakes.  Then I added Gem Glam Top Coat and over that Polish Matte'rs.

I love snowflakes, so I will leave you with some macro shots of the stamping plate.
