Today I have the 2nd part of the Winter Collection from Colores de Carol Hand Mixed Nail Lacquer. The Winter Collection includes 8 polishes in an array of finishes (glitter jellies, glitter crelly, glitter bombs and holos).
Now let's get to some swatches!
First up is my favorite of this group, a dusty lavender holographic polish called Sugarplum Sprinkles. Colores de Carol knows how to do a holo! (During my purchase, I also grabbed 2 other purple holos!) Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.
Vintage Lights is a glitter bomb that is so sparkly that I really struggled getting a clear photo. It contains silver holographic hexes with accents of green, pink, blue and green hexes and squares. Photos show 1 coats swatched and then sponged on layers to get an opaque look topped with a shiny top coat.
Next is Tree In A Bottle, a fun green glitter jelly. Tree In A Bottle contains gold and red hexes and squares as well as gold stars, which required no glitter fishing. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th, 6th and 7th photos).
The last polish in the Winter Collection is Marshmallow Candy Apple. Marshmallow Candy Apple is a very sheer red-pink glitter jelly. It contains red and gold micro glitter, as well as gold hexes and large red circles. I did use 3 coats over a nude colored base (Butter London base coat) to ensure no visible nail line. Photos show Marshmallow Candy Apple with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photos) and also matte top coat (6th photo).

Loves: I love love love the holos created by Colores de Carol! The formulas are perfection! I also thought Tree In A Bottle was so clever and adorable and fun! I love that this collection has several different finishes - it makes it so that there is at least 1 polish (or 8) that is perfect for everyone.
Wishes: My only wish is that I could have gotten clearer photos of Vintage Lights!
Thank you for reading!
Happy Polishing,
