Today I'm going to share the other recent Candy Drop Duo I purchased. Candy Drop Duos are a themed duo (typically once a month) from the lovely gals of Drip Drop Nail Paint (Jessica) and Candied Apple Polish (Alison). The Candy Drops go on adventures and always express their fun in colors combinations and polish finishes! As mentioned in the Candy Drop Duo Tea For Two - they are only available for 1 day, so you have to act quickly.
The lemons below are from our tree we planted a year ago and it's gone crazy...but we aren't complaining.
Now lets get to some swatches!
First up is Sugared Lemons from Candied Apple Polish. Sugared Lemons is a bubble gum pink glitter crelly that contains yellow circles and hexes in a few sizes, pink squares and hexes and white squares and hexes in a few sizes. Sugared Lemons is such a pretty polish that can be worn all year long. Formula was perfect on this polish and there was no glitter fishing. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.
The polish from Drip Drop Nail Paint is called ¢10. This polish is a bright neon yellow glitter crelly that contains red circles and hexes in a few sizes as well as neon orange-red squares in a few sizes. This is such an original combination of colors and it is blacklight reactive! (You will have to follow me on instagram and/or Facebook to see the nail art photos I took with black light!) I haven't seen anything like this color combination before - which is what I love about this polish! I don't have anything like it! Formula was easy to work with and there was no glitter fishing. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Loves: Such a perfect theme for the summer. It brought me back to running lemonade and kool aid stands as a kid and selling a few cups for ¢10 and feeling so rich. The softness of Sugared Lemons makes the polish perfect all year round and perfect for work if you want a little glitter. The brightness of ¢10 screams summer and is great for the beach and clubs with black light! The formulas on both Candied Apple Polishes and Drip Drop Nail Paints are so easy to work with that the polish almost applies itself.
Wishes: I wouldn't change anything about this duo! Such a great pair of polishes.
Candy Drop Duo's are available at Drip Drop Nail Paint's store. Be sure to follow both Alison and Jessica on Instagram for updates of when the next set will be available (@candiedapplepolish and @dripdropnailpaint).
What other adventures do you think the Candy Drops will go through this summer? A trip out of country?
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
