Creative Cuticles Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

Today I have some polishes from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish.  Creative Cuticles is owned by Kayla and is 5-free, so it doesn't contain the 5 nasties that can be in polish and is also cruelty free.  Her current collection is called War Among the Stars and is inspired by Star Wars.  I'll be sharing 2 polishes from that collection and 2 others.

Let's get to some swatches!

First up is Nail Besties, which is a pink glitter crelly.  The pink has rainbow holo dust infused in it and the formula is amazing and went on smoothly.  Nail Besties contains yellow squares and lavendar hexes in 2 sizes, however all the glitters were stuck to one side of the bottle (this bottle shape is not ideal for larger glitter).  This polish required glitter fishing and placement.  Photos show 2 coats and shiny topcoat.

Next is A Great Red, which is a red jelly-crelly with red glitter.  The formula of this polish was perfection.  It applied smoothly and easily.  This is my favorite of the four polishes.  It is such a hot red!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat.

The next polish is a white glitter jelly called Artoo.  Artoo is part of the War Among the Stars Collection and is named for R2D2.  In the white jelly, you will find medium sized silver holo hexes, red circles and blue squares.  Slight glitter fishing required along with placement.  Photos show 2 coats over a white undie with shiny topcoat.

Lastly is The Twin Brother, a black glitter jelly.  The Twin Brother is also from the War Among Stars Collection and is inspired by Luke Skywalker.  I opted for using this over a black crelly to ensure I got total opacity.  I really liked the way the green bar glitter shined through the black jelly (and I am not usually a fan of bar glitter).  Photos show 2 coats with shiny topcoat and matte topcoat.

Loves:  I really loved the originality of The Twin Brother and Artoo as well as the formulas of the A Great Red and Nail Besties.  Creative Cuticles is still fairly new to the world of indies and I'm excited to see what she has in store for the future!

Wishes: I wish a different bottle was used for polishes with larger glitter.  It would make application of the larger size glitters easier.
