Creative Cuticles Nail Polish After Midnight Trio Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Press Sample*
Today I have a treat of 3 jellies (yummy!?)...no not the kind you spread on toast!  The jelly polish - a finish that is like a jelly.  I have the After Midnight Trio from Creative Cuticles Nail Polish (CCNP) that releases August 19th.  What I love about jelly finishes is that they look so delicious with shiny top coat and super cuddly (yes I said cuddly) with matte top coat.  These 3 polishes are all 3 jellies and deep colors.

Now let's get to some swatches!

But first - how about a bunch of macros!!! From left to right: What Day Is It, Nothing Good and 2nd Wind with both shiny and matte top coats!  YAAAAASSSSS!

First up is Nothing Good, a deep blue jelly with micro flecks.  This polish reminds me of a clear summer night just as it starts to get dark and stars start to appear.  The micro flecks look silver, blue and purple but really there is only purple micro glitters in a holo jelly base.  (MAGIC in a bottle!)  They really pop when used with a matte top coat.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd and 3rd photos) and matte top coat (4th, 5th and 6th photos).

Next is 2nd wind, my favorite of the bunch because...well...purple.  (I'm predictable.)  2nd wind is a plum jelly with silver holographic micro flecks.  This polish looks amazing with both shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photos) and matte top coat (6th, 7th and 8th photos), which are shown with 2 cats of polish.

The last polish is What Day Is It?, a lovely royal blue jelly with silver holographic dust (smaller than flecks).  Due to the size of the holographic dust, they didn't show up through the matte top coat.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th photos).

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish
Matte Top Coat: Heart Of The Matter from Heather's Hues

Loves: These jellies go on easily as seen with the accompanying swatch video (below).  I love that these jellies look squishy (as jellies are describes) with shiny top coat and so lovely with matte top coat.  I really love 2nd Wind because it's purple, but really all 3 jellies are pretty much amazing.

Wishes: I hope Kayla (owner of CCNP) continues with these deep jellies with micro flecks - I'd love to see a maroon, a dark grey, a forest green for fall.  I wouldn't change anything with these three jellies!
