All Mixed Up Lacquers Characters of Tim Burton Collection Swatch and Review Part 2

Greetings and Nailutations!

*Blogger Package*
This is the second part of a four part blog review of the Characters of Tim Burton Collection from All Mixed Up Lacquers (link to first review).  The Characters of Tim Burton Collection contains 16 glitter toppers and they are all inspired from characters from Tim Burton movies.

Now let's get to some swatches!
First up is Golden Ticket, inspired by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  Golden Ticket contains gold and silver holographic hex, square, circle and star glitters.  What I loved about this polish is that there was zero glitter fishing.  Photos show 2 coats dabbed on over Girlosity Cosmetics' Fall Berries topped with shiny top coat.

Next is Land Of The Dead glitter topper.  Land of the Dead is inspired by Corpse Bride and contains matte neon yellow, blue, purple, pink and green hexes in 2 sizes and adorable little black skull and cross bones (or baby squids or babies trying to give you a hug).  :)  This polish also required no glitter fishing for the larger glitters (skulls and cross bones).  Photos show 2 coats dabbed on over Jenna Hipp's Damage Control topped with shiny top coat.

Jack Skellington is the next glitter topper and is obviously inspired by Nightmare Before Christmas.  It contains black and white rectangle glitter as well as black bar glitter and white micro bar glitter.  I can see Jack's suit in this glitter topper.  I also tried my hand at a Jack Skellington face as an accent.  I used Jack Skellington over Girlosity Cosmetics Autumn Blaze and topped it with a shiny top coat.

The last polish to share for this post is called Red Queen.  Red Queen is inspired by Alice In Wonderland.  It contains red and black hexes, gold small hexes and red and black heart glitters.  This polish has zero glitter fishing and hearts came with each dip of the brush.  I paired it with MPolish Snowberry, an accent of heart stencils from Twinkled T, Polish My Life Little Red Dress and topped it with a shiny top coat.

Loves:  I already spoke about how I loved the theme, so we won't go much more into that.  I love that the larger glitter didn't sink to the bottom or get stuck on the sides of the bottle (which tends to happen a lot in minis).  I also love that All Mixed Up Lacquers products are 5-free so they don't contain 5 of the harmful chemicals that can be found in polish.

Wishes:  I wish I would have paired Red Queen with another color, like peach or a soft yellow to really highlight the glitter topper.

Do you have a favorite yet out of the 8 I have shared?  I really love Oogie Boogie (from the first blog post) and Land Of The Dead - those little skull and cross bone glitters are just adorable.

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
