Digit-al Dozen: Vampy Jewelry

We are continuing the theme of vampy and I reviewed accessories.  I saw a lot of crosses and choker type necklaces, so I decided to adorn my nails with vampy jewelry.  As I stated yesterday - this theme is for the Digital Dozen and there are many other fabulous blogs at the bottom you should check out as their nail art the last 2 days have been amazing!

Digit-al Dozen: Vampy Textured Pattern

I'm back with a textured pattern for the Digit-al Dozen theme: Vampy.  I was inspired by some dark and sultry velvet upholstry patterns.  Oh yes...sexy couches..haha!  I decided to tackle my nemesis - textured polish (I can't handle it for long periods of time on my nails - nails should be smooooooooth.).  I will admit that I loved the look - and I love the look of textured polish.  Maybe I can learn to love texture on my nails...(after a few glasses of wine).  And be sure to check the bottom of the post for some other vampy looks from my fellow Digit-al Dozen members!

Digit-al Dozen - a group of creative women who do 5 days of the same theme nail art.  Yep, that's right - I'm officially a member!  I remember looking up to these creative gals when I first joined the nail art community 3 years ago.  I recently saw they had some openings and I applied and BOOYAH!  I got in! This will be the first theme I have participated in and the theme is: VAMPY.  I googled vampy for both images and what it truly meant.  I went with "darker, edgier fashion" and focused on that for inspiration.

Who is ready for Halloween?  I love October - the weather is cooling down (for us here in the desert of Arizona that means below 90 degrees), it's our garden planting season and I love Halloween.  I'm one of those neighbors who decorates the house the weekend before with spider webs, purple, green and orange lights and we actually have a bubble fog machine.  Yes....bubbles filled with fog fall at our door entrance to make it a little more spookier.  OK, enough talking bout Halloween, today I'll be sharing a duo that is nearly sold out as I write this from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  So I'll just get to the swatches so you don't waste time and grab a duo!
