KBShimmer's Enchanted Forest Collection

   Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press sample*

Winter collection are my favorites!  Sparkles, festive colors, and it means it is finally cooling down here in the desert!  KBShimmer's winter collection, Love At Frost Sight, contains all of that (and I feel the coolness in the air too).  Love At Frost Sight contains 10 polishes in assorted finishes.  AND that's not all, she added 4 new multi-chromes to the collection that I will cover in a blog post next week!

Name: Enchanted Forest Collection

Price:  $11 each, creme polish $10

First up is Amanita Moment, described as a soft, sage green crelly with color-shifting flakies with hues of red, orange and gold with shifting shimmer.  Photos show 2 coats for opacity with glossy finish.  If your nails are on the long side, you may need 3 coats.

I also had to add a matte finish to Amanita Moment.

Next is Branching Out, a tri-thermal with flakies of lime gold to spring green and aqua blue.  The polish is navy when cold, and as you warm up changes to a dusty periwinkle and fully warm to a mint shade.  I was able to get all 3 blue shades in the following photos, where I have it shown with 2 coats and glossy top coat.

Dawn To Earth is one of my favorites and it is described as a bright cobalt blue jelly with strong pink shimmer that shows hues of fuchsia, rose, and peach and gold.  Photos show 3 coats and I loved all the colors it picked up on my nails.

Frequent Flyer is a versatile polish that can be used on its own or as a topper.  It is described as a golden champagne with hues of green.  I recommend heading to KBShimmer website to see some of the other ways this polish is showcased.  WOW!  My swatches show 3 coats on its own with a glossy finish.

Another favorite is Hidden Potential - it is SO SHIFTY!  It is a violet with bronze to golden green shimmer which changes in light angles to show red copper to burnt orange to gold.  It is stunning!  Photos show 2 coats with a glossy top coat.

I'd Pick You is a pastel orchid crelly with green, golden, peach and aqua flakes that shift.  Photos show 2 coats for opacity with glossy finish.  If your nails are on the long side, you may need 3 coats.

I also had to add a matte finish to I'd Pick You.

Mist Me is a ligh slate blue with rose gold shimmer and linear holographic rainbows.  Photos show 2 easy coats.

My other top polish of the collection is No Illusions, a multichrome that shifts from blue to magenta purple and then to teal.  This one will truly keep you distracted!  (Do not operate heavy machinery with this nail polish on.)  Photos show 2 coats with glossy finish.

The last polish of the collection is a 1 coater creme called What The Fudge.  This polish shows 1 coat on my pinky and 2 on the remaining nails all topped with glossy finish.

Loves: So many loves in this collection!  No Illusions with its shifting multichrome, Hidden Potential with the color shifting  and Dawn To Earth!  You can tell I have a thing for purples.

Wishes: I am hoping to see more finishes and color shifting polishes like Hidden Potential and Dawn To Earth - they are absolutely breath-taking!

  2. I am not a fan of light, pale polishes, but Amanita Moment looks lovely, especially with that matte top coat. And that shift in Hidden Potential is striking. You captured it magnificently.

  4. I don't know what but Amanita Moment pulls at my heart! I'm normally not drawn to these types of shades but it matted is just stunning!
