April Indie Pick Up: Red Eyed Lacquer Tamesies Dunk The Roo's

Greetings and Nailutations!

We are quickly approaching Polish Pick Up/Indie Pick Up time!  The theme for Polish Pick Up this month is The 90's.  I spent middle school, highschool. and college in the 90's - so I am familiar with all the 90's THINGSSSS.  The food, the music, the accessories, the TV shows - ahhhh, sigh.....memories.  This month Red Eyed Lacquer is bringing us a food item with her Tamesies Hair Oil!

Let's get to more details!

Name: Dunk The Roo's
Cap: 45
Price: $12.00
Brand Description:  Frosted Sugar Cookies

Tamesies is a hair oil that contains Jojoba oil, Kukui Nut oil, Argon oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almon oil, skin safe frangrances.  The scent for Indie Pick Up is a sweet cookie and is utter perfection.  The formula of the hair oil is light and silky.

I pump a hand size "puddle" (super beauty guru term lol), and focus on the ends of my hair and then work it through my strands on damp hair.  My hair type is thick strands of hair with a lot of frizz and natural waves that I have learned to love over the last 5 years.

With Tamesies, I can get the frizz under control and I can get my natural waves to look "beachy."  Enjoy the face behind the nails!

HACK: I've been told a great hack to use the hair oil, is to add it to your conditioner!

Loves:  The scent is that cozy baked delicious goods type scent that I love all year round.  I really love the formula and it has allowed my hair to still feel healthy and strong with no hair cut in over 1.5 years.

Wishes:  I was going to wish for more, but I just got a recent order in with Blood Orange and a few other scents that will be perfect for summer!

As a reminder - all Polish/Indie Pick Up products can be purchase on their website April 2nd - 5th.  Everything is $3 flat rate shipping.  Join their Facebook Group to find out all the details!

  1. This oil sounds amazing! I have super frizzy hair here in the Deep South and could certainly get use out of something like that. The scent is my go to type so I know I’ll love it!
