Greetings and Nailutations!

Picture heavy post.
Today I am sharing a new to me brand - Cat Tail Nails! As a crazy cat mom of 4 furry four legged felines, Meg had me at Cat! =^..^= I was sent 7 polishes in different finishes to swatch and provide my thoughts.
Loves: The formulas for most were easy to work with - Peachy Keen was the only troublesome one. I also love the name (because I love cats). I also love that Meg takes feedback, as a customer/swatcher it is nice when I can go to a brand and let them know my thoughts on something and they respond with appreciation.
Wishes: Since the name and font used are so large, I could only fit CAT or NAIL or TAIL on it. Branding is important for small businesses, so I wish the name was in smaller font so it could fit in 1 shot. AND - this just in, the labels have been updated so new products will have a smaller label! :)

Let's get to the details!
First up is Blue In the Face, a blue-lavender creme. Formula was so easy to work with, and it self leveled on the nail. Photos show 2 coats with a glossy finish.

Next is Peachy Keen, a neon peach creme. Photos do not capture how neon this shade is (my camera is not a fan of neons like I am). Formula was a little tricky with this one - 1st coat streaky, 2nd coat showed patchiness, on the 3rd coat I was able to get full opacity. Peachy Keen is shown with a glossy finish. NOTE: I was informed that the formula has been improved to be less streaky.
Tickled Pink is a bright neon pink. Formula was easy to work with and photos show 2 coats with a glossy top coat.
Next there is Purple Mountain Majesty - the perfect neon purple. Formula dried quickly to a satin-matte finish, so I recommend working fast with not too much or too little polish on the brush for an even coat. Photos show 2 coats with a glossy top coat.
Heirloom is a bright red creme polish that is a one coater. I used 2 in the photos, but 1 coat would have covered and given me the opacity I need.
Midnight Tide is a fun polish because it is a thermal. It is a purple jelly when cold and a blue periwinkle when warm and is filled with colorful flakes and micro flakes. Photos show 2 coats with a glossy finish.
For Midnight Tide, I also had to add a matte finish to it.
The last polish is Feeorin Fairy, which acts as both a topper, and a polish on it's own. On it's own in 2 coats, it gives that ethereal look, while as a topper with one coat it casts a shimmer of blue on any color. I love it over Blue In The Face.
