October Indie Pick Up is just around the corner! What is Indie Pick Up? Think of Polish Pick Up but without the polish - indie make up, hand made items like soap, jewelry, lip balm, lip gloss, top coats, cuticle products, a top coat or base coat and wax! Today I'm sharing Sweet Sage Scents' contribution wax melt.
Let's get to the details!
Inspiration: Hannibal Lector
Scent: Typhoid and Swans
Cap: 120
Price: $5.25
A purchase of Typhoid and Swans will give you a 6 cube clam shell. The scent notes are pomegranate, raspberry, pink peppercorn, musk, vanilla, cedar wood, orange and patchouli. For me personally, I picked up mostly the raspberry pomegranate and vanilla. The scent reminded me of those hard candies Lifesavers Creme Savers raspberry flavor. So delicious. While I loved the scent, my husband struggled with the musk/perfume notes. It's funny that he could pick that up, but I felt the raspberry and vanilla was stronger.
Loves: The scent! I love when scents provide memories and I remember eating those raspberry creme savers that my grandma and grandpa would keep in the candy dish.
Wishes: I wish the hubs loved this one, but now it's more scent for me - which means I will melt it in my mani-cave only. :)
As a reminder - all Indie Pick Up products can be purchase on their website October 19th - 22nd. Everything is pre-order and $3 flat rate shipping. Join their Facebook Group to find out all the details.

I'm glad that you can use it in your mani-cave at least! It can be tough when spouses don't agree on fragrances
ReplyDeleteI am the one who vetoes fragrances in my house. Luckily my DH doesn't veto the few I like.
ReplyDeleteLOL on the mani-cave. We all have woman caves right?
ReplyDeleteHahaha mani cave I love it. The scent sounds great btw!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this scent description sounds phenomenal! I love raspberry creme savers!
ReplyDeleteI havent tried wax melts but they sound like they work really well to scent the home!
ReplyDeleteI looove wax melts. We just got a new electric melter (we were using tea candles to warm our previous one... like peasants! lol)
ReplyDeleteI might need to give wax melts a try again!
ReplyDeleteThis was the one you mentioned in your story! yeah I like the notes you mentioned but the patchouli would scare me! LOL
