Greetings and Nailutations,
It's day 1 for Digit-al Dozen week of "Get To Know Me." Me? Little ole me. There is something that completes me - music, songs, a good beat. I am almost always listening to music. At work, I wear oversized headphones (teal) and since I have a sit-stand desk 50% of the time I am dancing and singing. In meetings if someone says something that triggers a song lyric, I will bust out with the line.
Co-worker: that's bananas
Me: That shi- is bananas! Bee-ay-en-ay-en-ay-es!
Co-worker: we are a good team, like family
Me: We are family....I got all my co-workers and me!
At home, I religiously play the game Song Pop - it's like name that tune with different genres. You guess the name of the song or the artist. This is what I play while I do my manis and while I edit photos.
Songs are memories. I relive moments with songs - my wedding, my graduation, a good vacation, a concert and a movie.
Let's get to the mani!
Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint - Yoga Pants, Bounce Around (press sample)
Simply Spoiled Nail Art Pen - Orange
Jenna Hipp - Jenna and the Giant Peach
Vivid Lacquer - VL015 Plate
Cuticula - Scented Nail Tape (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper - stamper (press sample)
SuperChic Lacquer - Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat
I created a gradient of orange, peach and yellow and found a musical image. I stamped with Yoga Pants and I heard the chorus!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little about me. What part does music play in your life? Do you love it?
Happy dancing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
I love this so much! Music has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Passed it down to my kid, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat! I wish I had musical talent though.
DeleteI like this. It's fun and bouncy.
ReplyDeleteI love music and the power is has to cheer me up when I'm not doing well. Such a cute manicure!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen!
DeleteLove it- and love the idea of doing manis about yourself! Music has always been a big part of my life, too- in high school I played string instruments so I always had to have my nails super short. I enjoy getting to play with them now, though!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a music talent to create music.
DeleteThis mani actually made me swing! Such a fun fact! I do love listening to music, but not all day long. I play the flute, but haven't touched it in ages (I should! Now I want to this minute! But it's midnight and my neighbours will kill me...)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I always thought the flute was so magical.
DeleteI love stamping over gradients. It's such a cool mani!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteThat sounds exactly how it is at my house. The smallest word will set one of us, even my kid, off into a singing tangent. Love your color choices for this!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Hopefully broadway show tunes! :)
DeleteMusic is a wonderful part of life! Love your mani dedicated to it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerry!
DeleteYay, we can be friends! Haha!!! MUSIC is a must!!! Always on, matter of fact I wasn't starting anything on the computer until my music loaded! Haha!!! I love it, plus the power os music is so neat! I'm also into concerts! Haven't been to any lately, but I miss them! Its been since 2015! Ekk!! To long! Altho, I mean I have a valid reasoning, but still, I'm ready to get back to them I think! Hehe!
ReplyDeleteLove concerns - our last one was out of state to see the Rolling Stones - the hubs is a huge fan. :) We saw them in Vegas and a few famous people were within throwing distance of us (Tom Petty, Kid Rock and Zach from the Hangover movies).
DeleteSuch a cute manicure! This is a great DD theme - I always love to see what you ladies are up to ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily!
DeleteI love this!! Not a day goes by that I don't listen to music!!
ReplyDelete:) Right!?
DeleteLove that you guys turned the cliche "get to know me" blogger tag into a nail art challenge!
