Digit-al Dozen Get to Know My Songs

Greetings and Nailutations,

It's day 1 for Digit-al Dozen week of "Get To Know Me."  Me?  Little ole me.  There is something that completes me - music, songs, a good beat.  I am almost always listening to music.  At work, I wear oversized headphones (teal) and since I have a sit-stand desk 50% of the time I am dancing and singing.  In meetings if someone says something that triggers a song lyric, I will bust out with the line.
Co-worker: that's bananas
Me: That shi- is bananas!  Bee-ay-en-ay-en-ay-es!

Co-worker: we are a good team, like family
Me: We are family....I got all my co-workers and me!

At home, I religiously play the game Song Pop - it's like name that tune with different genres.  You guess the name of the song or the artist.  This is what I play while I do my manis and while I edit photos.

Songs are memories.  I relive moments with songs - my wedding, my graduation, a good vacation, a concert and a movie.

Let's get to the mani!

Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint - Yoga Pants, Bounce Around (press sample)
Simply Spoiled Nail Art Pen - Orange
Jenna Hipp - Jenna and the Giant Peach
Vivid Lacquer - VL015 Plate
Cuticula - Scented Nail Tape (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper - stamper (press sample)
SuperChic Lacquer - Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat

I created a gradient of orange, peach and yellow and found a musical image.  I stamped with Yoga Pants and I heard the chorus!

I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little about me.  What part does music play in your life?  Do you love it?

Happy dancing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

  4. Love it- and love the idea of doing manis about yourself! Music has always been a big part of my life, too- in high school I played string instruments so I always had to have my nails super short. I enjoy getting to play with them now, though!

  5. This mani actually made me swing! Such a fun fact! I do love listening to music, but not all day long. I play the flute, but haven't touched it in ages (I should! Now I want to this minute! But it's midnight and my neighbours will kill me...)

  7. That sounds exactly how it is at my house. The smallest word will set one of us, even my kid, off into a singing tangent. Love your color choices for this!

    1. Love concerns - our last one was out of state to see the Rolling Stones - the hubs is a huge fan. :) We saw them in Vegas and a few famous people were within throwing distance of us (Tom Petty, Kid Rock and Zach from the Hangover movies).
