Joha's Love Nail Polish Spring 2015 Collection Swatch and Review Part 1

Today I am sharing the first half of the 2015 Spring Collection from Joha's Love Nail Polish.  Joha's Love Nail Polish is created by Johanna (of Instagram account @nailsbyjoha).  Her Spring Collection contains creme pastels that are perfect for spring, a dainty glitter topper and a glitter crelly.  Joha's Loves Nail Polish is always 5-free, so it does not contain 5 of the harsh chemicals that can be found in some nail polish.  Two new products that have been added to her shop are organic and botanical cuticle oil that smells amazing and a fast drying 3-free top coat.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Kissed By The Sun, a soft glowing yellow, that makes you feel warm from your heart to your fingertips!  Kissed By The Sun is a beautiful, easy to apply creme that self levels (as with all of Joha's cremes).  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Sweet As Mint, a muted mint that is refreshing and a great addition to the collection for spring.  Sweet As Mint applied easily with Joha's perfect formula and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last polish for today I will share is Angel Whispers.  It is a beautiful white creme with golden flake glitter.  This polish looks amazing in shiny top coat (1st photo) and matte (2nd photo).

Loves:  I loved that the colors are great staples for anyone interested in nail art as they all work wonderfully as bases.  I loved the formula, the self leveling action speaks volumes to the quality.  My favorite is Angel Whispers, because it is soft, feminine and beautiful and looks lovely both in shiny top coat and matte.

Drip Drop Nail Paint New Releases Swatch and Review Part 2

Today I have the second part of a new collection that is available from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  As with all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes they are 3-free and have creamy formula.  Currently all of these polishes are available and in stock.  The collection is filled with shimmer and flakey goodness!

Now let's get to some swatches.

First up is Cat Eye Glasses, which is a magenta shimmer polish with lovely micro flakies!  Want to feel girly and powerful in that meeting at work?  This is the polish you need!  The people at work will cower before you!  (Because they will be staring at the shimmer and flakes!)  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Costume Jewelry, an eye opening shimmery aqua.  When I say eye-opening, I mean it.  When I saw this color on my nails my eyes became saucers.  This is one of my favorites in this blog because this isn't a color I have. Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Sentimental Swag is the next polish and it is a deep shimmery purple with more flakes!  This is the other favorite!  You all know I cannot resist a purple.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th and 6th photos).

The last polish in this new collection is Kaleidoscope Eyes and is a glitter topper!  It contains blue, silver and lavender circles, pink squares, black, silver, and pink hexes and silver and aqua micro glitter.  This polish will complement any undie (under color).  I have 1 coat dabbed on over Sentimental Swag topped with a shiny top coat.

Loves:  Retro theme - love it!  Shimmer and flakes combination - original and finishes I don't have!    And and added plus is that all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes are also 3-free so it does not contain 3 of the nasties that polish can contain.

Wishes:  Love this collection!  I would love to see more metallic like Gold Veined Mirror.

Today I have part of a new collection that is available from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  As with all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes they are 3-free and have creamy formula.  Currently all of these polishes are available and in stock.

Now let's get to some swatches.

First up is Bicycle Built For Two, a royal blue creme.  Bicycle Built For Two has 2 little secrets when you look at it closely.  First, it has shimmer in just the right light and second, there are micro flakes.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Next is Gold Veined Mirrors, which is a gold shimmer with gold micro flakes.  This polish looks like liquid gold on your nails.  This is my favorite of her new collection!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat in both filtered light and artificial sunlight.

Lastly is Roller Derby Rebel, a sparkly glitter bomb.  Roller Derby Rebel contains silver holographic micro glitter, hexes and squares and lavender micro flakies.  This polish can be worn over an undie with 1 coat, or on it's own.  Photos show 1 coat dabbed on plus 1 coat sponged on for total opacity and 2 coats of top coat.  It gives it a textural feel and look.

Loves:  Love the retro theme of the collection!  The different finishes and combinations all are creative and original.  A shimmer with flakies, a golden liquid, and a glitter bomb with flakies are very imaginative and beautiful.  And and added plus is that all Drip Drop Nail Paint polishes are also 3-free so it does not contain 3 of the nasties that polish can contain.

Wishes:  Love this collection!  I would love to see more metallic like Gold Veined Mirror.

Exotic Lacquers Assorted Polish Swatch And Review Part 2

Today I have the next 3 polishes from a new indie called Exotic Lacquers that is scheduled to open February 16th.  In my previous post, I shared a thermal, a scattered holo and a multi-chrome polish.  This post has a flakey polish, a holographic polish and a glitter jelly.  All Exotic Lacquers polishes are 5-free too.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is Ruby Slipper, a delicious (as in beautiful...don't eat it) red glitter jelly.  Ruby Slipper contains red micro glitter swimming in a lovely red jelly.  This polish will actually be part of her Oz Collection and be available after the initial launch.  Formula was easy to apply and photos show 2 coat with shiny top coat (1st, 2nd and 3rd photos) and matte top coat (4th, 5th and 6th photos).

Next is Twister, which is also from the Oz Collection.  Oz is a dark grey polish with holographic rainbow dust.  This polish had great formula, just like the all the rest of the polishes from Exotic Lacquers.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The last polish is Original Sin, a golden flakie magical elixir.  This polish contains gold shimmer and gold flakes.  This polish also works as a topper over any color too.  Original Sin is opaque in 3 thin coats and photos show it with shiny top coat.

Top Coat: Gloss It from Krafty Gurl Designs

Loves:  All finishes on these polishes applied perfectly.  The colors and combinations are pretty and original.  The bottles are unique, which sets Exotic Lacquers apart.  The brushes are nice and wide, which makes application easy.  And all Exotic Lacquers are 5-free, so they don't contain any of the 5 nasty chemicals that can be found in polish.

Wishes: I am excited to see what else is in store for Exotic Lacquers.  I would love to see other versions of Original Sin and Ruby Slipper in different colors!
