Bliss Polish Valentine's Collection Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

Today's blog review is on an indie line called Bliss Polish.  It was founded in August of 2013 by owner Yvette.  Her Valentine's collection is adorable, pretty and edgy!  Bliss can be purchased here, her instagram username is @blisspolish and Bliss is also on Facebook.  I did miss getting one polish, which was sold out when I went to buy the collection (Smooch).

The first beauty is called Destiny, which is a soft bubble gum pink jelly, which dries to a matte finish.  In the photos I dressed it up with a gold heart charm.  The last of the Destiny photos shows it with a shiny top coat to demonstrate the shimmer of this polish.  The photos show 3 coats for total opacity.  This polish would be cute as the base for a french manicure!

The next polish is called Mint2Be and is a light mint holo.  It is shown with 2 coats to get complete opacity.  The color is gorgeous and it contains those sparkly holo glitters.  This is a beautiful pastel which will be a great color for spring too!

The third polish is called Kismet.  Kismet is a purple crelly with a subtle purple-pink shimmer.  I love how bright and vivid this purple is!

Wine & Dine is a amazing maroon-wine colored holo.  This color is sultry and makes me long for a glass of red wine (but it's not Friday yet).

The last of the Valentine's collection is called XO.  It is a lovely teal jelly with turquoise, gold and brown hex glitters in it.  These colors work so well together.

Loves:  Bliss Valentine's collection is a little bit of everything!  Matte…check, holo…check and check….shimmery crelly….check and glitter jelly…check!  I love a collection that has different types of polishes.  I can't wait to swatch some of the other polish collections from Bliss.  All the formulas were great and easy to apply.
Wishes: I wish I could have gotten my hands on Smooch - the last of the collection!  I can't think of anything else I would want to change with this collection.

Beginnails' Sunday Six Week 10

Greetings and Nailutations!

How was everyone's past week?  I am finally feeling better and was happy that the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl (since I am originally from Washington state).  But mostly I was excited about the commercials.  I was rooting for them!  This week I was able to do more nail art and of course you will start to see spring colors sneak out here and there.

The first is a swatch of Dead Roses from the Anti-Valentine's A Box, Indied by Jindie Nails.  It is a gorgeous purple glitter jelly with silver and purple glitter.  This photo shows it mattified.  This may be one of my all time favorite polishes.

Next is a fun dotticure, using Ciate colors from the advent calendar.  It was a nice surprise to see how well mint and red looked together.  I started with larger circles at the end of my nails and got smaller and smaller, with leaving the moon area un-touched.

I have been on a dotitcure kick lately!  This is also using 5 of the Ciate colors in a skittle (multi-color).

Now this next one is from a Valentine's collaboration that was organized by Heather (IG: @peaceloveandpolish) and Amber (IG: @nailslikelace).  It was free-style, anything goes.  I decided on a nude to pink gradient with some traveling purple hearts.

Next is a color from Blanc-Morena, which I won in their Instagram giveaway.  This color is called I AM Serene, which is part of their I AM collection.  I also used some chevron nail vinyls to get a fun vertical zig zag pattern (purchased from IG: @teismom).

Lastly is the Seahawks water marble I did on Super Bowl Sunday.  No other words need to be spoken.

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed!

Party Girl Lacquer Review and Giveaway

Greetings and Nailutations!

Hello!  The blog review today is on a brand called Party Girl Lacquer.  The name screams "YOUR NAILS ARE GONNA ROCK" and they do!  Party Girl Lacquer can be bought online here.  The polishes arrived wrapped in adorable lace fabric and ribbon, like they were dressed for a party too.

First one she threw in for free!  I love a business owner who knows how to make a polish addict happy.  It is called Sandy Trinkets.  The base is a rose gold bronze color with small gold hexes and blue squares.  I loved the color concept and the base had a shimmery sparkle to it.  The formula was easy to apply and I included a close up shot to demonstrate the shimmer.

The next one is called Ring The Bells.  It is a glitter topper which has silver holo micro glitters, large hexes and gold medium hexes.  In the photos below I have it over a nude base coat.  This polish sparkled and shined in the light and I took an out of focus photo to show off the gorgeous holo.  This polish had zero glitter fishing!

The last polish is called Ken Hardly Wait which is a glitter jelly.  The glitter sits in a red jelly base with silver holo micro glitters, silver large hexes, black squares and fun red hearts.  This polish is opaque in 3 coats and there was minimal glitter fishing for the hearts.

Loves:  The brand name is fun and you truly feel like a party is going on on your nails.  I loved the glitter combinations, they are fun and inventive.  Party Girl Lacquer is 3-Free too.
Wishes: Overall I was pleased with these 3 polishes.  I believe the glitter combinations with more of a crelly formula would be gorgeous as well and look forward to future collections from Party Girl Lacquer.

And of course the best news…I have an extra Ring The Bells and Ken Hardly Wait for a lucky winner!  They are brand new, bought with my own money.
US only, 18 or older (or 13-18 with parental permission via an insta-vid).

February A Box, Indied Review

Greetings & Nailutations!

Woo hoo!  A start of a new month…it brings fun nail art challenges & monthly subscription boxes!  A Box, Indied this month is Anti-Valentine's themed!  It contains 5 Limited Edition polishes & a black chocolate rose (a dead rose to go with the theme).  This month's single box month to month buying option is sold out!  I know why…the images and previews seen on instagram were absolutely amazing!

The first polish is from Different Dimension and is called Cupid is Stupid.  It is a beautiful pink jelly with lavender iridescent glitters.  I had trouble capturing the iridescence of this polish, but believe me…it's there!  Photos show 3 coats for complete opacity.

The next polish is by Black Cat Lacquer and is called He Loves Me Not.  It is a purple crelly with little blue and purple micro glitters in it.  Absolutely loved the formula on this polish, made for easy application and opaque in just one coat!

Next is Dead Roses by Jindie Nails.  It is a purple glitter jelly with silver holo and purple holo circle glitters.  And with all the glitter jellies, I had to show a matte version as well!

The fourth polish is my first from Colors by Llarowe and it is called Yo, Cupid, Take a Hike.  It is a stunning blue holo.  I was so impressed with formula and the holo, I will definitely be purchasing more from them.

Last polish is a glitter topper from Dollish Polish, called Heartbreaker.  It contains red, pink, white and holo hex glitters of all sizes, circles and bow glitter!  I have it pictured below over a peppermint blue.

I am in love with A Box, Indied subscription box.  Polishes from previous months can be bought as singles at a lower price, if it is still available on Llarowe.  Their site just got a make over as well!

Which one is your favorite?  This month was difficult to pick a favorite!  I loved them all!

Happy Polishing,
