Colorful Colorado Indie Box Halloween Edition

 Greetings and Nailutations!

Press sample.

Today I am sharing with you the Halloween Edition of the Colorful Colorado Indie Box!  You may remember a few months back, the initial box where brands who live in Colorado kicked off the box with famous landmarks.  One of my wishes in that post was that they re-visit this and WOO HOO!  WISH GRANTED!

Let's get to the details!

Details:
Products: 6 indie polishes from 6 different brands
Price: $60 + shipping, or $12 each
Availability: Pre-order September 28 - October 6, on Zombie Claw Polish

*Alphabetical order

First up is Bluebird Lacquer with the cutest name ever - Coors Booery.  It is described as which is an 'eggplant purple jelly haunted by a poltergeist of shifting ucc flakies in green-gold-blue with a bad omen of iridescent flakies.'  That description made me smile just writing it.  Photos show 2 coats with glossy finish followed by matte finish.

Next we have Geekish Glitter Lacquer bringing in a a hot pink - and when I say hot pink, I mean HOT!  My camera really struggled focusing on the shimmer of this baby.  It is called The Shining Ball and is described as 'neon pink base with blue-purple shifting shimmer.'  Photos show 2 coats with glossy top coat followed by matte.

Jen and Berries Lacquer contributed Strange Sightings at Silver Cliff which is described as 'deep, dark blue polish with blue sparks, blue microglitter, and larger aqua holographic glitters.'  Photos show 2 coats with glossy finish followed by matte.

Pin-Up Paint created Archangel of Shavano for the Colorful Colorado Indie Box.  It is described as 'a satin matte grey with green shift.'  This polish has a matte finish, so a delicate hand in application is needed.  It dries to the satin matte finish quickly.  Photos show 3 thin coats with no top coat, followed by glossy.

Then we have Starlight Polish with Come Into The Forest, which is described as 'a green jelly as dark as a forest night with twinkles of green shimmer like stars glinting through the branches overhead.'  Photos show 2 coats with glossy and matte finishes.

The last polish is Zombie Claw Polish's contribution called Pumpkin Prison.  It is described as 'a light orange with linear holo gold and purple flakies, and assorted glitters.  Photos show 3 thin coats with glossy finish.

Loves: I love this idea, it's so clever and fun.  With travel a little difficult at the moment, this is like a small spooky vacation.  :)  I really love that all 6 polishes are so different too.

Wishes: Well, since I got my wish last time, I'm hoping again for another box - a winter box.  I want to see Colorado in the winter....snow, ice, cold (I'm in the desert...I don't experience that very often).

  1. What a great idea for a box. I think this would make a great gift set especially for someone who's moved away from Colorado or loves being there.
