Greetings and Nailutations!

Today I am sharing with you one of the contributions from KBShimmer for Polish Pick Up and Indie Pick Up!  Stop back tomorrow for the 2nd item!  The theme this month is Halloween and KBShimmer was inspired by growing up in the midwest and being near apple orchards.  Apple picking, canning and pie making all come into play in this sugar scrub with a complex scent that unfolds before you.

Let's get to more details!

Name: Apple Harvest Hand and Body Scrub
Cap: No Cap
Price: $10
Brand Description:  Notes of freshly peeled apples throughout an apple green and off-white swirled scrub.  Slightly sweet, with just a hint of tartness, you can almost smell the first bite of a Honeycrisp or Granny Smith.  Soon, the apple scent gives way to a sugary, almost caramel-like note accented by subtle traces of cinnamon and stewed pears.

The sugar granularity is fine, not super coarse, which I love for hands - gentle yet rough enough to exfoliate my delicate aging skin.

Here is a quick before and after - before you can see the dryness on my nails and cuticles.  I used a scoop of scrub and worked it through my fingers and over my nails.  It wasn't too oily and left my skin and nails looking fabulous!

Will you be picking one of these up?

Loves:  Growing up in Washington State, we had an apple tree in the back yard and fall was always a great time for harvesting.  I love the sweet tart scent of apple for Autumn.

Wishes: Is it bad that I wished this stuff was edible?  DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT EAT IT!  :)

As a reminder - all Polish/Indie Pick Up products can be purchase on their website September 4th - 7th.  Everything is $3 flat rate shipping.  Join their Facebook Group to find out all the details!

  1. I’m going to have to pick up this scrub! Apple isn’t a big go-to for me, but this sounds heavenly and I am beyond ready for fall!
