May Polish Pick Up: Sweet Sage Scents Ring Candy

Greetings and Nailutations...or Waxutations?

*Press Sample*
That greeting was a total spoiler on what this post is about!  This is my first ever wax melt post!  I got into wax melts about 6 or so months ago and my house has never smelled more delicious!  Today I am sharing the Polish Pick Up contribution from Sweet Sage Scents.  If you are new to PPU, it is a shopping experience where a theme is voted on by customers and all brands that offer a product create something around the theme.  This month the theme is 90's.  Let's get to the melty goodness!

Sweet Sage Scents is offering a wax clamshell...and what better scent than one inspired by the that bling lollipop...you know what I'm talking about.  The scent is called Ring Candy and it is a juicy cherry.

Cold Sniff: both my husband and I picked up a strong tart candy scent, like opening a bag of sweet tarts.  My mouth started watering!
Hot Scent: I picked up more of the cherry during melting and at first it was strong cherry candy, but after about 10 mins, simmered to a pleasant cherry sweetness (which I'm still smelling now as I'm writing).
Throw: 7/10, it was in the common areas (kitchen, living room, guest bathroom, formal living room)
Equipment: 25W wide ceramic dish
Cost: $4.50
Buy Again: this was a press sample, but I'll be picking it up a back up if I'm quick (200 cap!)

And my first ever wax melt video is making it's debut!  Don't worry, I ordered another warmer where you can actually see it melt.

  8. This sounds lovely! I'm more of a scented candle/diffuser-and-oils person, though I want to try my first wax melt.
