Polish Pick Up: Ribbits Stickits I Like Big Books Decals and Frogetaboutit Acetone Additive

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Samples*

March Polish Pick Up opens tomorrow and the theme is books!  How better to adorn your new book inspired polishes than with water decals with adorable images on them!  This is the quickest nail art you can do - believe me!  (water marble takes forever, stamping takes minutes to hours and the freehand can be all day!)  This nail art takes 15 seconds to cut to size, 5-10 seconds in water to soak, then slide it off - place on nail (pat dry with sponge) and add top coat!  BOOM - nail art in a minute or less!

I forgot to mention - you get vinyls too!  This is a huge package!  $15 for 5 decals sheets, 1 large holo vinyl and then a sheet of vinyls.

Let's not forget the Acetone Additive which is a BRAND NEW item to the shop debuting on Polish Pick Up!  This will be $3!

Let's get to the details!

Let's start with the Acetone Additive - Frogetaboutit Acetone Additive in the scent In The Stacks of the Bodleian (which is a library in England - I totally googled it).  For me, I added 12 drops to my little container of acetone and the first scent I picked up was cozy spices and a hint of leather.  It made me think of those old quiet libraries that you want to get lost it.  It's described as cinnamon, clove with a hint of leather.

Next item is the vinyl (shown center) - a holo vinyl saying "Just One More Chapter."  Perfect for your helmer or a bookshelf, or anything!

There are 5 clear backing decals sheets and 1 vinyl sheet.  They were all easy to use and the 3 biggest hacks I learned over the years in using decals are the following.

  • Before you slide your decal off, put a drop of water on the nail you plan on applying it to.  This allows you to move the decal around for the perfect placement.
  • Once you find that perfect spot - take a clean (use tape to clean it) make up sponge and dab it on the decal to soak up excess water.
  • Float your top coat brush over the decal to ensure a perfect top coat.

Now here are a ton of manis using the water slide decals!

"Book Lover" decal paired with an adorable little owl reading and of course the little book says "just one more chapter."

One of my favorite images is the "Talk Nerdy To Me" and the Book Worm.

Another decal that cracked me up was "Book Lovers Never Go To Bed Alone" (hahahaha) and I Heart Nerds.

The last mani I have to share gives me a cozy comfy feeling with the girl reading with her tea and I heart books.

Shiny Top Coat: Dream Polish - Gem Glam Top Coat (press sample)

There are so many decals in this package!  There are 72 decals!  That is a ton of manis!  Then you have the vinyls decals too and a great holo vinyl!

As a reminder - all Polish Pick Up products can be purchase on their website March 2nd - 5th.  Everything is pre-order and $3 flat rate shipping.  Join their Facebook Group to find out all the details!
