Road To Polish Con Week 1

Greetings and Nailutions,

*Press Samples*
Today I have a super special post to share!  Polish Con is fast approaching and that means we are treated with ROAD TO POLISH CON polish releases by the vendors!  Week 1 starts February 25th and you will have a week to purchase these polishes.  You can get them shipped real time, or save them all for 1 huge delivery (use code FREESHIPMENT if you want it held).  Please use code BEGINNAILS for a free nail gift with purchase (glitter, rhinestones, etc).

Let's get to the swatches!  *Picture heavy post, photos shown in filtered light and LED*

First polish is from Ever After Polish, the hosts of Polish Con.  Ever After has created Little But Fierce, a gorgeous grey polish with rainbow holographic glitters along with colorful flakies with a touch of pink shimmer.  Photos show 2 coats for opacity, although 3 may be needed if you have a strong smile line.  In the filtered light the flakies are the stars of the polish, however in the sunlight (LED) that holographic glitter lights up!

I also plan on doing nail art with each polish to get us all in the mood for the warmer weather.  Little But Fierce was paired with sweet butterflies.  (Products: LINA Nail Art Supplies Seasons - Spring 01, Moonflower Polish Dia from Lantern and Wren, Ribbits Stickits Un-FROG-gettable Cuticle Cover and Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper)

Next polish is Inspurrrations Psalms 74:17, which is a purple glitter crelly.  This perfect spring crelly contains pink and green matte large hexes, peach medium hexes, magenta and light pink small hexes and turquoise micro hexes.  There re also white shards thrown in here and there.  There was zero glitter fishing and after application I recommend 1 thick top coat or 2 coats to really smooth out all that fantastic glitter.  Photos show 2 coats with top coat (I could have used a 2nd coat).

This bright spring color was screaming to be stamped with flowers, so I obliged and added some pink flowers and rhinestones.  (Products: LINA Nail Art Supplies Seasons - Spring 01, Painted Polish - Stamped in Pink 2.0, Ribbits Stickits Un-FROG-gettable Cuticle Cover and Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper)

The last polish for this week is a stunner!  Pepper Pot Polish created this flake-tastic polish called Pixies and Spriggans and Sprites, Oh My!  Now when I say flake-tastic, I mean it - green, silver, blue, purple, silver holographic flakes in several sizes.  I acquired full opacity in just 2 coats and topped it with a shiny top coat.

The look of this polish - metallic, color shifting, I wanted to utilize some negative space stamping so I stamped roses over it and loved how it turned out.  (Products: LINA Nail Art Supplies Seasons - Spring 01, Moonflower Polish Noche from Lantern and Wren, Ribbits Stickits Un-FROG-gettable Cuticle Cover and Clear Jelly Stamper - Big Bling Stamper)
