Color Clutch Product Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
I've had this product to review for a few weeks - it originally was delivered to my neighbors who were out of town, then when it got into my hands it got misplaced when cleaning (obviously I am NEVER cleaning again.)  :)  Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the Color Clutch - it is an adorable polish storing container.

Let's get to the review.

The Color Clutch is advertised:

  • Stores most sized bottles/brands
  • Safely transport bottles during travel
  • Allows visibility of your pretties!
The Color Clutch comes in 3 different colors: black, white and purple.  It has spaces for 14 lacquers to carry.

I tested out round short bottles, round long bottles, square bottles and several sizes of rectangle bottles too.  They all fit snugly and securely.  I would feel safe traveling with them knowing they would not be moving around or shifting.

You can also keep the sturdy Color Clutch on display or stack them side by side (like books).

Because the "spines" have swatch boxes for what is in the box!

Initial thoughts: I was surprised at how light weight it was.  The foam inserts allowed round, square and even rectangle bottles to be stored.  They were all snug and cozy.  I liked the see through front so that you can see all of the polishes at a glance.  I also loved that it was sturdy - I'm going to Polish Con and The Indie Shop events in the next 2 months and obviously I need to take polish so I don't have naked nails!  Putting this in my suitcase will be so much easier and safer than me folding polish in my clothes.

Wishes:  I would use this for traveling and won't be making use of the color swatch spine, but it would be cool if the swatch spine had little sticky note rectangles that can be removed/replaced when new polishes are put in the box.

  2. I love mine for traveling! The foam is perfect at accommodating so many bottle shapes and I like knowing my polish is secure.

  3. This is something I would have loved when I was covering Cosmoprof each year and traveled with a bunch of polish!

  4. You can remove the spine swatches with acetone! I didn't even think about it for PolishCon but that makes a lot of sense! I really love how sleek the design is for traveling or smaller collections.

  5. Make sure you use non acetone to remove the spines. I used acetone and removed the gold lettering LOL

  7. This is SUCH a cool idea. If I didn't have SO many polishes, I would totally get this to store mine in. Maybe if I do a major declutter, I can par down my polishes!

  15. It can be useful, but in general I prefer to see my nail polish on the shelf :D

  16. Great review! I wanted to take mine with me to NYC, but had no room for it. I might end up taking it to Chicago with me to safely bring home some pretties!

  17. I'd love to have this but I have way too many polishes for it to help.
