Digit-al Dozen: Rainforest Greenery

Greetings and Nailutations,

It is a Digit-al Dozen week!  This means all week I will be doing nail art posts inspired by Rainforests.  The first thing I thought of was greenery - layers of green, glistening leaves.  Are you picturing it now too?  OK!

Let's get to the details!

Products Used:
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer - The Algae-atic Sea (provided by OPNL for Polish Con Tutorial Table)
Painted Polish - Woodland Whimsy
It Girl Nail Art - Emerald (press sample)
Vivid Lacquer - VL033 Plate
UberChic - UC 6-03 Plate
SuperChic Lacquer - Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat
Cuticula - Nail Tape, Pear Martini scent (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper - Stamper (press sample)

I started with a base of The Algae-atic Sea and topped that with top coat.  After it was dry, I created a gradient with Woodland Whimsy and The Algae-atic Sea and topped that with top coat.  I double stamped with leafy images on 2 plates with both Woodland Whimsy and Emerald.

I love how this turned out - it gave green depth and glistening dew on the leaves.  Be sure to check out the other manis below.

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
