Digit-al Dozen: Pottery French Tips

Greetings and Nailutation,

It is Day 3 of the Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art and I decided to look at a different form of art - pottery! One of my sisters is what I would call an artist.  My folks' house is still adorned with some of her masterpieces - a leopard batik, a wooden unit that is carefully painted with apples (my mom collects apple things - it's a teacher thing!) and this ornate pottery piece.  I decided to look into pottery and found a piece that reminded me of china plates.

Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint - Tighty Whities
Simple Spoiled - Nail Art Pen
Heather's Hues - Top That Top Coat, Heart of the Matter

I love the simple look of this and definitely want to try it with other colors.

Here it is with matte top coat.

Do you have any pottery in your home?  We only have some outside for plants, but I want to work some pieces into the inside of the house - I just have to make sure no kitties decide it's a new toy!  :)

Check out the other works of art from Digit-al Dozen members!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

  3. Oh my gosh - yes, before I even started to read I thought these reminded me of my grandma's old pottery or tea sets. It's such a great mani design.
