MDJ Creations and Heather's Hues Fall Collaboration Duo Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

*Press Sample*
Today I am sharing a perfect for autumn duo from MDJ Creations and Heather's Hues.  This duo will be available Friday at 7pm (cst).  The duo contains a glitter bomb and a soft holographic polishes.

Now let's get to some swatches!

First up is MDJ Creations nude scattered holographic polish called Spun Silk.  This polish is so soft and cozy - it really reminds me of that perfect cashmere sweater that you curl up in while reading a good book on a rainy fall day in front of a fire.  The formula applied easily and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The partner to this duo is a glittery sparkle-tactic polish called Turning Leaves from Heather's Hues.   This polish had my mind exploding with - oh my word, is that color shifting glitter?!!  It contains gold, orange, red and color shifting flakies.  I originally swatched it on it's own with 1 coat and then a layer sponged on to get a full glitter bomb effect (1st through 5th photos), then I realized the glitter shift is shown better over dark colors!  So I had to throw it on over a dark base (Drip Drop Nail Paint Evening Forest) and oh my word (6th photo) I could get the color shift captured.

I'm also going to add in some sneaky peek nail art I did with this duo!

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish

Loves: Such a great collaboration duo - they wear wonderfully on their own or used together.  I'm ready for collections to transition into fall colors!  :)  Formula on both polishes were perfection - smooth and creamy for the holo and zero glitter fishing on the glitter bomb.

Wishes:  I wish these 2 do more collaborations together.  I love how duos and trios really get indie makers to support each other and showcase some gorgeous creations.

Be sure to check out my YouTube Channel for the swatch video that goes with this to see the formulas in action!

What is your favorite thing about fall?  Do you look forward to the colors or the textures coming out?

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
