Drip Drop Nail Paint Recent Purchases Swatch and Review

Greetings and Nailutations,

Hi!  It's been awhile since I've done a blog post - I sick this week with strep throat!  No fun at all.   Today I am going to share some gorgeous polishes I purchased in March from Drip Drop Nail Paint.  I've been sitting on these swatches for a few weeks now....(don't hate me!).  These babies will all be restocked during the summer (planned in June) if you happen upon a "sold out" notice (except the group custom).

Let's get to those swatches!
First up is a polish added to the "stairway" series called Stairway Blues.  Stairway Blues is an aqua glitter crelly that contains aqua and gold holographic hexes as well as aqua large circles.  Formula applied nice and photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The next of the "stairway" series is Floral Stairway.  Floral Stairway is a white glitter crelly containing light blue, gold and light pink hexes as well as large teal, pink and gold circles.  Applied easily with perfect formula and zero glitter fishing.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat (1st - 4th photos) and matte top coat (5th - 7th photos).

Jessica, owner of DDNP, also released a new version of Feather Boa, called Feather Boa 2.0.  It is very similar to the original, but only a darker shade of purple for the base.  Feather Boa 2.0 contains purple, lavender, magenta, black and silver holographic hexes in a few different sizes.  Photos show 2 easy coats with shiny top coat.

Singin' In The Rain is another new release that is sure to appeal to all the blue lovers out there.  Singin' In The Rain is a royal blue scattered holographic polish.  Formula was so creamy and smooth.  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

The partner to Singin' In The Rain is After The Storm.  After the storm is a densely packed glitter bomb (or glitter topper).  I have it shown on my pinky and ring finger with 1 thin coat and then the rest sponged on to get a glitter bomb look.  The pointer and middle finger have a coat of a purple jelly, 1 coat of the After The Storm and then a second coat of the purple jelly (jelly sandwhich).  Photos show with a shiny top coat.

The last polish, which is a teaser since it was a group custom (and not available any longer) is called #dripdropsquad.  It is a purple glitter crelly with lavender, purple and mint glitters in hexes and squares.  Be sure to join to get sneak peeks, custom polishes AND secret releases that aren't announced anywhere else.

Shiny top coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish
Matte top coat: Heart of the Matter from Heathers Hues

Loves: Drip Drop Nail Paint formula is always creamy and perfect.  I love that there is no glitter fishing needed in her polishes.  I also love her glitter creme color combinations, she has an eye for fun pops of color.

Wishes: I was really happy with these new releases and still need to get to playing with her new glow in the dark releases!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails
