Candy Drop Duo: Spring Is In The Air

Greetings and Nailutations,

Today I am sharing the latest Candy Drop Duo!  Candy Drops are a collaboration between Candied Apple Polish and Drip Drop Nail Paint.  They come out with new duos every month and they have an adorable theme.  This month's theme is Spring is in the Air.

Now let's get some swatches!

Candied Apple Polish's contribution is Field of Flowers, an aqua glitter crelly.  Field of Flowers contains neon yellow, green, pink, orange and blue matte glitters in the shapes of squares, circles and hexes.  This is such a fun polish and perfect for spring!  Photos show 2 coats with shiny top coat.

Drip Drop Nail Paint's polish is called Miss Dotty.  It is an absolutely adorable red jelly with black dots and hexes as well as tiny iridescent particles to give it that little something extra.  Photos show 2 coats with both shiny top coat (1st - 5th photos) as well matte top coat (6th-8th photos).

I also had to use both these polishes in nail art because they were just too perfect not to use.

Since Candied Apple Polish named hers Field of Flowers, I had to stamp a field of flowers on it.  I used Vapid Lacquer's VL033 plate and stamped with my Clear Jelly Stamper and Drip Drop Nail Paint's Yoga Pants.  To keep my skin clean and for easier clean up I used Cuticula Nail Tape.  It's all been topped with a shiny top coat.

Drip Drop Nail Paint's Miss Dotty of course needed a ladybug design.  I used a black striper and colored my tips and drew a line down the middle of my nails.  I love how these turned out!

Shiny Top Coat: Gem Glam Top Coat from Dream Polish
Matte Top Coat: Heart of the Matter from Heather's Hues

Loves: I'm such a fan of the Candy Drop Duos.  The formulas from both CAP and DDNP are always smooth and apply perfectly.  These are one of my favorite duos that they have done since starting the collaborations.

Wishes: I couldn't have asked for anything more in this duo.  The cuteness overload is at maximum!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka @BeginNails

  2. Beautiful swatches! Both polishes are really pretty but I love Field of Flowers the best, especially with your stamping over the top.

  7. Yes, that definitely need a lady bug design -- how cute! I love it! I am not a big fan of glitters, but I like this black glitter as it isn't too much and can go with any polish color :-D
